Short Changed
A basic Alex Cross mystery storyline. It is a short story that gives you enough to want to read more. If the purpose of the bookshots are to allow a book to be read during a commute or while waiting on an appointment it missed it's shot. The book was good, but I felt there was too many open ends to just stop the book. It is like the author started writing and didn't know where to go with the next chapter so he stopped. I was disappointed and felt short changed.

I don't get it.
I was very excited, a new story with one of my favorite characters but...is this supposed to be a complete novel, as advertised or a teaser? I don't want to give away the story so let me just say the ending is not an "ending". Also part 5, around chapter 20 is the beginning of a Womens Murder Club book and part 6 is the credits. Left me very confused.

Don't Spend Alot
Would you consider the audio edition of Cross Kill: A BookShot to be better than the print version?
The book is classic James Patterson Alex Cross - the story pace is good. Action. Thriller. However, it leaves you dangling. And you wonder - what happened???
Would you be willing to try another book from James Patterson? Why or why not?
I am a JP fan so of course I would try another. His books are pretty consistent - twists and turns and action.
What about Ruben Santiago-Hudson’s performance did you like?
His performance was ok.

VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
First of all if its a black character, it should sound like a black character!!!
What was most disappointing about James Patterson’s story?
No excitement
How did the narrator detract from the book?
Just didn't read the same (listen), and I've beng read all of them!
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!
Any additional comments?
I so looked forward to this book and it was such a terrible let down.
I hope the book series "Michael Bennett" is a much better read (listen) to!

Great but format is frustrating
For those who love the Cross and Women's MurderClub books, breaking them up into cliffhanging sections is annoying. Write the whole book and sell it, Mr. Patterson.

good performance, but this is 3/4 of a story!
A BookShot should be a complete story, not a teaser for a future work. If you're looking for a complete story this is not it. Very disappointing, this is only 3/4 of a book. Mr. Patterson, what happens to Alex?!

Exceptional , exciting and suspenseful.
Hooked me from the start! does not disappoint. James Patterson does it again. I couldn't wait to hear what was going to happen next. Reminded me what I loved about James Patterson and his writing and why Alex Cross is my favorite character.

Not best of series
Have read other Alex Cross books. This is not one of the best. Did not like the ending because it didn't finish the story as others in the series have.
