Not what I expected

More like Dean Koontz than Patterson. Bizarre story with a bizarre ending. Not one of the better Patterson books for sure. Love Koontz but not when I'm expecting Patterson

That was unexpected ... the storyline

Patterson does like to spread his wings and write across many genres. This one is more in line of what I would expect from Barker. Great read / listen. Really well interwoven between the present and the past and very difficult to put down.

Complicated plot

Too far-fetched and boring at times. I expected more from 2 of my favorite writers. Well narrated

It took me a moment to get the flash backs through time, but it was a good wait to kill some time

After chapter 42 it stopped playing and would not download

Not Typical James Patterson

I’ve read a lot of James Patterson books, and the story in this one just did not fit with anything I’ve ever read of his. This is obviously the shadow writer’s work. It was an OK story, but not one I would put on par with Patterson’s usual work. Narrator was very good, though.
