Good Listen

This story gives you the background on how and why the warriors were created. Full of drama and an everlasting love. This story makes you want to read the rest to see what happens next.

Beginning

OMG holy cow. A love triangle with a twist. Loved it all. I am looking forward to see if the author can top this amazing female.

I liked the book. The pacing was a little fast at first but at the end I was invested in the story and Characters. I really want to listen to the next book

Interesting Prequal

The narration was good and let me understand the characters. The narrator did an accent, I enjoyed, but at times it was hard to understand. The guys' voices were not great, taking me out of the story a bit. Overall, the narration helped me engage in the world created by the author.

This was a good quick read, it was a bit steamy for my preference. However, I truly enjoyed the characters and how they moved forward no matter what was placed in their way. Beatrice and Abe both became supernatural, but of course it is not an easy path. This story is one of love and sacrifice, it broke my heart. The story definitely kept me engaged, I recommend you try it.

Went forward fast in time. I wish it had more to it, but loved the storyline.

This is a Background Story to Series

This gives the background and incidents that lead up to the Series. While it was good, it was also slow. I will continue to follow this Series for now and see where it goes.
Narrator was clear but not really sure how much I liked her. she was not monotone, but not did not put much emotion into the reading, which would have made the book immensely more interesting.

explains a lot of story plot in book 1 and helps understand more of the why

I really enjoyed the storyline and characters! Loved the way the narrator did the story and I can’t wait for the next one! ❤️

Setting up a series

I'm assuming the purpose of this book was to set up a new series. I haven't read any of the other books in this series, so I can't tell you how necessary or relevant this books is. This book did the job of making me want to know more about what happens to these characters. I'm planning to read at least the next book in the series. This book, though, was a bit rushed. A lot happened in a very short amount of time. There was a lot of story and information that was stuffed in to a very short book. As a result, the story suffered a bit. This tale revolves around 3 people who love each other very much. At least that is what we, as the audiance, are told. That is one of my main issues with this book. We are told how much they love each other. We aren't shown how much they love each other. There isn't enough time, the book was too short. I'm hoping that in longer books going forward that won't be a problem. I like being shown how characters feel and experiencing things with them. There really wasn't enough time to grow to care about these characters and become invested in there lives. I hope that changes. Still, I'm curious enough to want to know more and see where they go from here. Crossing my fingers for the next book.

This book had me on a rollercoaster of emotions. I felt like crying for Finn, Beatrice, and Abraham as they faced the prophecy head on that took control of their lives. The story is to be continued in the next book and I’m sure it’ll be just as emotional.
