He uses a good mix of examples from the Bible, his own life, and the life of others to illustrate his main points. One of my favorite parts was his account of how God led him to write the <i>Experiencing God</i> study.
Blackaby is the closest thing I know to a modern day prophet. This audio book will help you develop a closer "friend" relationship with God as you apply its principles.
