Publisher's Summary

From New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts comes a tale of royal intrigue and unexpected love.

For a few precious weeks, Her Royal Highness Camilla de Cordina could be just plain Camilla MacGee. Working in rural Vermont for the devastatingly handsome and utterly cantankerous archaeologist Delaney Caine is the perfect refuge. But Camilla's irritation with the man soon turns into fascination, then desire, and the royal runaway knows she'll have to confess. Would Del see her as a woman to be loved, or dismiss her as a royal pain?

A favorite series

Loved the whole series. Each has something the others lack, yet all are great in their own right. Susan Ericsson is excellent, in language, accents, timbre, with an understanding of the characters she portrays at any given moment.

Don't waste your money or credits

I struggled to finish this novel it was long and without much depth. The narrator's accent was unable to effect a consistent voice for Gabriella which was very distracting.

Susan Erickson

Susan Erickson makes this book worth listening to. The book was very predictable and I felt the male character was not someone anyone would ever fall for.

Up to Nora's usual standard

A good story with some education on archaeology thrown in. The author either has a very good sex life or an exceptional imagination.
The narration was good but I deplore the American habit of slurring words and leaving out letters.
