book was great was waiting for Audible so I could have the book come out love Summer Morton & Lance Greenfield 🔥 the book was excellent read already I was waiting for it to come out and it didn't disappointed it was great!!!!!

I really enjoyed this story and the chemistry between Max and Eve. Very entertaining. Lance Greenfield and Summer Morton did an awesome job with the narration.

Great Hook-Up to Lovers Romance!

I love that the heroine is strong and stands up for what she wants, even if it hurts like hell. I didn’t like that it took Max so long to figure that out. I would like to have seen more concessions from Max along the way so that they would have more “together time” in the book. I made a few notes along the way of important moments (kindle edition)

Contracted is the 3rd book in The Agency Series but can be read as a standalone.
Max and Eve’s story is steamy, sexy, erotic, and adventurous in more ways than one. Marni once again knocked it out of the park. Both Max and Eve were workaholics, who always put work first. She was a highly sought out stylist, and he was a lawyer and music agent. They lived in different cities, made their long distance relationship work for two years. Then the roller coaster of emotions start. Eve wanted more. Max was guarded, had been hurt in the past and threw his life into the only thing that saved him then, work. He didn’t know how to be anyone else. Their relationship starts to unravel, and took its toll on both of them. Max has to learn how to fight for what he wants. He fights back for Eve. It took him a while to figure it out, but he finally saw the light. Loved their story. Narration was great, dual POV. Kept me engaged.
Great read and listen

Very nice read

This is the first book I've read by Ms. Mann and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to it. Ms. Morton's narration was very good, and her voice reflected the age of the character, something I struggle with in many female narrations. Mr. Greenfield could become a top 5 narrator on my list if he would tame his excited voice; he sounds like he's narrating a noir detective story. I loved his voice when he was speaking in a normal voice.

Such a good story

I really enjoyed this story. The only issue I had was sometimes the female voice sounded like she was in a tunnel.

Amazing audiobook

Lance and summer really know how to bring these characters to life. Lance presented Max in the most perfect way that I imagined home from the book. And Sumner really nailed Eve as well. Superb story and most excellent narration.

Entertaining

This was not my favorite by this author. Just because Eve and Max spend so much of the book apart. But it was VERY spicy and had lots of angst. I found Max frustrating and I wanted to smack him when he started hanging with his ex. But on a whole the story was entertaining enough it kept my interest. I wanted to know what happened next.

I love a good grovel

I originally listened to this on AE months ago, but it’s one of my favorites with this narrator so I purchased through whispersync after AE went bust. I know Lance Greenfield’s intensity is not everyone’s cup of tea, but this was one of my first by him and I enjoyed it. I really enjoyed the female narrator too, although there was one scene for her later on where the sound quality was off. No big deal though. I still have yet to read the 1st book in this series because the male narrator sounds elderly and I didn’t make it through 3 minutes before returning. Thankfully it was easy to put some of their story together with the next 2 books. This book has a good storyline, strong heroine, easy to follow characters from the other books. I will say after listening to this again, Max is a bit of a mansplainer with his inner dialogue. He repeats something that was just said, and then of course add his intensity. Normally, that might be irritating, but I liked this book/series so it was more amusing than anything. And like my title implies, the H does a good grovel to the h near the end.

Sinfully Sexy Audiobook!

Holy HOTNESS, this book is so dang sexy, I was totally not prepared for that! And my oh my is Max a dirty talker as well, he knows how drive a woman wild. This book definitely brings the heat but also has great banter and angst, making for a great listen. The narrators really brought sensual passion to life that make Eve and Max so hot together.

Eve has been in an exclusive relationship with Max for two years, he truly fulfills all her sexual desires, but that is all he is willing to give. She styles the stars and he manages top musicians, both extremely busy careers, leaving them with just stolen moments together and not much of a true relationship. I love that when Eve decided she wanted more, she stood her ground and made Max discover on his own that he wanted everything and more for his life and love with her. She didn’t force him to change but he was was smart enough to realize that with her, nothing in his career was more fulfilling than a love like they shared.
