Unique Alpha and Omega story!

A truly unique story in the Alpha/Omega world with Mpreg. I wasn't sure what to expect going in to this as it was a new author for me but I must say I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Our omega, Ty, has fought many battles to get where he is in life and he hasn't let anyone else's opinions persuade him onto a different path. He is strong, loving, and dedicated. Carter, the Alpha that comes into his life, is unlike the other Alphas in this story which is a very good thing. Even though these two start off very unconventionally, Carter makes the necessary effort to be there for Ty. Ty's brother was, well he was entertaining and every time he would show up I found myself chuckling and wanting to high five him for all that he was doing for his brother. The story itself is full of meddling, hateful, irritating parents and an extremely distasteful ex that try everything they can to come between Ty and Carter but watching how these two dealt with everything that was thrown at them will make you believe in the strength of relationships again. Ty and Carter believed in each other and supported each other, talked through everything, and communicated properly which kept the bad eggs from being able to win. I'm looking forward to the next story in this series and since I skipped the first one I will probably go back and read it as well. I have yet another author to add to my reading list.

My reason for lowering the overall and performance star levels were the narration, not the story. The story is awesome, the narration I wasn't exactly a fan of. I had to speed it up to 1.20x to be able to bear it and then there were certain voices that the narrator would use that made me cringe. I was enjoying the story too much to stop listening though which says alot for this author's talent.

First comes marriage

This was a really great story about a lawyer that wants a baby and a baseball player that needs money. I love how Ty and Carter came to love and lean on each other despite all the road blocks that Ty’s parents and Carter’s job create. Since I haven’t read the first book in the series, I will need to go back and see if I missed anything.

Ty’s brother Keegan is awesome and I can’t wait to read his story. I really like the story and thought it was well written and look forward to more.

I was not a fan of the narration and may pass on the audio version of any other books done by the narrator but everyone has their own faves. I recommend listening to a sample first.

This was well written and performed. What started out as a simple contract turned into so much more. If you want a heartwarming tale this is it

A Great Story

This is the second book in The Hellion Club Series. A captivating book the writing was good. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters intriguing. The characters were developed and thought out. Ty Cunningham is an Omega and Carter Bowman is an Alpha and they are the MC’s of this book.

The narration was done by Guy Veryzer who is a new narrator to me. His voice didn’t work for me. Unfortunately, I am very picky about voices. There was an attempt at different voices but not successfully. He was however expressive in his narration and he wasn’t monotone because of it. If you’re not picky like I would definitely give it a listen. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.

entertaining

Ty wants really wants a baby and Carter lost all his money in a questionable investment. They decide to have a contract baby.

Carter is unlike any alpha Ty has ever met. He's loving, protective, and supportive. I adores him from the first page. The secondary characters are all amazing as well and some awful ones too: Keegan, their awful parents, Ty's gross ex and the baseball manager Tracy.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes mpreg universe and great romantic chemistry. And kudos to the narrator who knocked this out of the park!

The book is good, the narration not so much...

Carter and Ty had a bit of an unconventional start, but they managed to overcome all obstacles in their way and find their HEA. They had a lot of chemistry and the story was engaging and interesting.

Unfortunately, the narrator didn't work for me and I don't know how many times I stopped because I'd had enough of his voice. I actually had to increase the speed of the audio to make it bearable, which is something that I'd never done. So, I'm very sorry, but I just can't recommend the audio.

Great Story

I really enjoyed the story itself. Ty and Carter definitely had a rough and unconventional start to their relationship but they are great together. They have a lot of obstacles coming at them from all sides that they have to overcome for a very well deserved HEA. Unfortunately I did not like the narrator for this story. There isn't much characterization and is narration is very slow without much inflection or feeling. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Ty and Carter

Ty and Carter are a good solid couple- well they would be if Ty’s despicable parents weren’t conspiring against them. They came together rather unconventionally but truly love one another. Buckle up for a wild ride, because it seems like they are hit with every obstacle possible. Guy’s narration was good as always. His portrayal of Tracy (typical Alphahole) especially cemented the characters in my head (he got the belligerent, nasty attitude right on the money). Altogether an enjoyable read/listen.

Stupid idea?

Guy Veryzer is a narrator who is new to me, and I didn't enjoy his vocalisation, but that's my personal taste, though he does a reasonable job of narrating the story.
I couldn't really get good feel for the characters and I didn't really like them much to start with. I've read some of the other Hellion Club books, which I've enjoyed, but it took me far too long to get into the story and get to know the characters.
I confess I was a tad disappointed with Aiden Bates choice of narrator.

OK

I must say that this was not one of my favorite audiobooks...the story line was good and I liked the main characters. I was interested in their story...but the narrator of this one just didn't do it for me...his voice was slow and stilted and just not right for this book. I don't think I would listen to another one that he narrates in the future :(
