I want mooooore!!

Finished the series in less than two days. Loved every minute of it! Worth the money/credit.

Could not stop listening to this trilogy. Worth all the credits ❤️. Dark and beautiful and keeps you on your toes right to the end. I’ve listened to so many books and authors and have never been so addicted, 3 books in 3 days. Jason & Desiree were amazing narrators .

A perfect ending to an amazing trilogy!!!

I was so thrilled to finally be able to finish listening to this excellent trilogy by Rina Kent on my audiobook, and yes I said Excellent!!!!! If you’re looking for action, suspense, hot sex (with a little BDSM on the side), and a surprising HEA between an anti-hero and a courageous, smart, ballsy heroine this is your trilogy!!!

This Russian Mob story drew me in from the very beginning, and without spoiling the story let me just say the sexy male voice of Jason Clarke, and female lead Desiree Ketchum will draw you in and the story with all its amazing characters, plot twists, and surprises will have you not putting it down whether you’re running to the grocery store or doing laundry. This one is that good.

You have hot sex, great chemistry, great action, a real plot, and it is Not a stand alone. So if you’re trying to start here go back to book one “A Vow of Deception.” You won’t regret this one!

Revealing the truth

I read this but didn’t give a review ‘til now. Such a twist of a story and all are revealed but not what you think it was going to be. I do like the utterly epic surprises and seeing how things will turn out for these 2. It’s truly up to you if you like this result of crazy dark love. It did took me awhile to warm up again with the main characters yet the full circle of the trilogy redeemed itself. It’s worth reading if you want a lot of suspense and thriller! I dig it a lot! I don’t want to reveal too much but I say, if you are feeling down for twists and turns, engaging story - this is it!!!!

Well deserved conclusion to a beautiful dark romance

I love how Lia became her own person in this final book and how Adrian broke down his wall to finally admit loving her for all the 6 years together. Narration was excellent by Jason and Desiree, especially the Russian accents done by both narrators. 5 stars!!

A Fantastic Series Ending

I have decided to move to Russia and find myself a man who works for the Bratva who will own me and protect me for the rest of my life. He may even kill for me. 🤣 Oh, that doesn’t work in real life, huh? Seriously, Jason made Adrian sound so sexy, even when he was cruel. I loved the fights he would have when Lila started standing up for herself. They were both so headstrong, but I loved how the relationship grew into something special.

This was a wonderful ending to an awesome series. I wanted it to last longer. I wanted to hear more about the bodyguards. I have to be honest, there were some parts of this book that was so intense that it was hard to listen to, but it was also very entertaining. I don’t know how Rina thinks of things like this, but she has a brilliant mind.

Her stories are usually dark, and in real life would probably send people to therapy, but it’s fun to go into this world and forget about the real world we live in right now. I also like the fact that she brings characters from other books into the story. I think this is one of my favorite series of hers, but I say that all the time.

Great Series.

Thoroughly enjoyed this series. Loved Adrian. Leah on the other hand was a challenge to like until midway through the last book. The performances were great, BUT producers and writers need to up their game by having the male do ALL the male performances and likewise for the females. I no longer will listen to one performer doing narration unless it’s Julia Whelan. She can do male voices quite well. Anyway, I highly recommend!

Love Adrian Volkov!

I loved this trilogy! The performance was outstanding by Desiree and Jason. The story is soo good that kept me in the edge of my seat. Highly recommend if you like your morally grey heroes.

My Thoughts: I loved listening to this series. Jason and Desiree did a great job narrating this story. The way they say "Lia" when Adrian is annoyed is so perfect.

Lia and Adrian's love story stole my heart. Like the title of this book, they consumed me. Each book in their trilogy got better and better. This book starts with the first book's ending, returning to the present. It was epic from start to finish, and they enthralled and frustrated me throughout their story. Their stubbornness and eagerness for control almost hindered their relationship. Secrets kept being revealed, hindering their relationship. Lia fought her love for Adrian throughout most of this series, and in her mind, the only connection between the two of them was their son, Jeremy. Lia has a major mental shift in this book and continues to show her loyalty to Adrian and express her true feelings. Adrian and Lia have such an epic love story and are in my top five book couples. I love their stories so much.
