When a bowl is broken in Japan, rather than being thrown away, it is put back together with the cracks being filled with gold to create a beautiful lining. Amazing, isn't it? This emphasizes the fact that a life shattered by terrible circumstances is not useless. In other words, we must embrace our pains, sorrows, flaws, and imperfections so that we can create a beautiful piece of art in ourselves. It's the same way broken tiles are used to make beautiful designs. Besides, if delicious meals can be made from bitter leaves, then why can't you make a beautiful story out of your supposed terrible circumstance?
If you are reading this, then it means you still believe in yourself. God hasn't condemned you, so you should not give in to despair. As a matter of fact, God never allows more than what we can bear because he wants us to emerge as conquerors. So, whatever challenge you are facing, you are capable of overcoming it. Just because a few dirty drops get into an ocean doesn't make it dirty. Likewise, don’t let your bad experiences make you think your life is horrible.
Reflecting on my life, I was denied by my father, discarded and sold out by my mother, maltreated by my guardians, molested by a counselor, and betrayed by my spouse. In fact, if there's one word that described my life, it would be miserable. Not even the depths of your imagination can decipher the extent of my suffering. No doubt, life is full of victims, but it is also full of victors. Through it all, God intervened, and I wrestled till I snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. I could have been a victim when life happened to me, but I chose to become a victor.
Conqueror of a Shattered Heart is the story of an individual who, despite being shattered by life, chose to put back the broken pieces of her life with cracks filled with gold in order to create a beautiful lining. You think your life is broken beyond repair? This audiobook will shatter such belief.
