Great book!

Getting through the first half of the book is actually pretty hard, but hearing the hardships that Jeff went through makes the goodness and the grace of God that much brighter!

Amazing testimony of a faith journey

Jeff is the quintessential example of a transformed life for her like all Christ Followers were dead in our sins. But Christ knew us before we were born they we should go forth and glorify Him through out God works. Thank you Jesus for Jeff’s life.

Testimony

Just saw Jeff Allen at a show on August 3, 2025. He was funny and real. He showed authentic vulnerability in his testimony as part of the show. It made me want to read his book. The book is a tough read for the first few chapters. It is raw and cringey. Jeff narrates the book and he goes off script on occasion——well this is an audiobook so I can’t say for certain as the book may be written this— but it seems he goes off script to add a little extra flavor as he reads. He comes across as genuine and thoughtful. Tami is one good woman and it’s her story too so it’s impressive to see how far they’ve come as shown in this book.

An easy listen, great story of redemption 

If you’re looking for an easy listen, and one that gets you thinking about the purpose, we all have in life, this is a great choice. 

GREAT!

Definitely get this book. The honesty alone is worth it. The truth contained in it make it even better. it was good to know he had some of the same thoughts and issues I do. It was good to see a way through them.

He was real about where he came from

im glad they helped each other hold on they marriage.

His raw honesty.

God mercy and grace follows us all the day of our lives. Psalm 23:6. This book is testimony to this fact. When we are not even aware, or we refuse to acknowledge Him God’s goodness is right there in the midst of our lives. This book gives Christians and nonbelievers alike truth to take into their hearts and learn to put faith in the one who has always been there loving them, even when they know they weren’t worthy.
