Publisher's summary

With a foreword by number-one New York Times best-selling author Daniel Amen, Concussion Rescue gives listeners the natural and effective protocols for healing from traumatic brain injury.

In Concussion Rescue, Dr. Kabran Chapek shares the programs and protocols that he uses at the Amen Clinics to put patients on the pathway to healing from traumatic brain injury. From general assessment using sophisticated tools (SPECT imaging, MRIs, and CAT scans) to very specific blood tests (out-of-balance lab values in blood can point to symptoms of brain injury and may explain why the brain is not healing), Dr. Chapek guides listeners to getting the proper medical care. He shares the cutting edge and most effective treatments for acute traumatic brain injury, as well as chronic traumatic brain injury, and provides the most powerful natural treatments.

Concussion Rescue will be an invaluable and potentially lifesaving resource for athletes, parents of student athletes, coaches, and anyone who suffers a mild or severe brain injury.

I thank God I stumbled on this one 🙏!

This is the best HOW TO SURVIVE A BRAIN INJURY I have ever been blessed to stumbled upon!

I have recovered from a 3 week coma in 2008, then a stroke 11.3.16, connecting the dots hasn't created a picture that makes since, until now! I'm sending my testimony, cc Dr Leaf, she introduced me to you, I just found her, thank God! Hope for me revived!

You guy's changed my perception about being on hospice. I've had breast cancer since 12.16.2016. On hospice 11 months for the chaplain 🙏🙇‍♀️. Surviving holistically 🦸‍♀️.

I know I'm not dying of cancer like 'they' say. Thank you both. 😇😍

Great Research

Great research regarding the best way to handle a concussion within the first 24 - 48 hours that all sports trainers should hear. Offers insights on how to handle chronic symptoms. For those looking for more answers to chronic problems other than “hurry up and wait,” this book provided some alternative therapies.

Fantastic! Practical, easy to understand, relevant to everyone!

Dr. Chapek did a nice job organizing this book into two general categories. The first is a cute TBI and the second is chronic TBI. He covers a range of treatments that are very practical and accessible to most people. I enjoyed his survey of diet strategies the most. This book is a must read for any coach, or individual how has experienced a major hit on the head. Dr. Chapek’s book “Concussion Rescue” and Dr. Daniel Amen’s book “Change Your Brain Change Your Life” have different focus but together will impress upon you the need to take Brain health and any potential TBI seriously. Don’t shrug off a hit on the head. It could have long lasting mental health repercussions! Dr. Chapek’s book discusses immediate and long term protocols for treating TBI that is worth being familiar with before a need to know is imminent.
