Kit & Preston's complicated story continues in Book 2. Lots of ups & downs. But fate brings them back together again. They are both fighting their attraction to each other. I was totally captivated by the electricity that Ashley created between Kit & Preston. So amazing. It is a cliffhanger. I'm anxiously awaiting book 3 to see how it all ends. Teddy & Melissa do an amazing job narrating! You MUST read this series!! So, so good.

Wonderful

This review is for all three books and contains no spoilers.
First, the narration by Melissa Moran and Teddy Hamilton was perfect. The voices fit the characters and both did an excellent job with pacing, enunciation and injecting just enough—but not too much—emotion into their scenes. 5🌟
The plot was unexpectedly multifaceted. It was twisty and exciting; interesting and captivating; heartwarming and angsty. I have to admit I didn’t expect such a high quality book…I expected a much lighter “steam with some plot” book. I was delighted to discover this book was an excellent, multilayered story with some excellent steam.
The author is very talented. I’m looking forward to exploring her entire library.
For the best experience, I highly recommend listening to the Complicated Hearts duet prior to listening to this series as those characters play a large part in this story.
Overall, this was a 5🌟 listen and worth the credits.

That Ending!

This second book was filled with so much drama! The chemistry between Preston and Kit is electrifying! You can feel the need they have for each other, but it’s sad when they are not honest enough to tell each other how they feel. The ending was a big shocker too.

Teddy Hamilton does an amazing job!

+++5-star narration

There is no denying that Ashley Jade is a brilliant writer. She always creates characters and stories that are captivating and entertaining. My only complaint is that the editing could be better. There is a ton of repetition (for example, JAWS are mentioned 31 times and hearts are referred to as ORGANS 9), and there are way too many coincidences. There are literally over 50 casinos in the incredibly busy, populated city of Las Vegas, yet the main characters, “just happen“ to run into one another in one?

I also kept finding myself feeling distracted, trying to figure out how I know the side characters. I’m 99% sure I’ve read about Preston‘s brother Asher and his lovers which is driving me crazy!!! One last complaint: this ends with a major cliffhanger. Otherwise, it’s a GREAT story, and the AB narration is +++5 star!!!

Can she whine anymore??

OMG Kit seriously needs therapy! Not only does she whine all the time but she's constantly proclaiming she's a lesbian. It's sounds like she has to keep reminding herself about her sexual orientation. It gets old really fast.
I can't believe Preston puts up with Kit.
Sorry Ms. Jade, the story is kind of a flop. The Kit character is bad.

I need more!

I am so in love with this series, and Audible brought it to life. These narrators were perfect in delivering one of my favorite series!

Bluff

Bluff is the second book in the Complicate Parts series. This book needs to be read after Fold as it takes place right where that book ends. This book is the continuation of Preston and Kit and is told from both of their perspectives.

Preston and Kit have had a crazy past. They haven't seen each other in three years, and now they have randomly met in Vegas. Kit will do anything to get the money her parents left her, and her grandmother is not making it easy. She wants her to marry a guy. Kit decides to ask Preston to be that guy, so she can help him out in the long run.

So much happens in this book. Preston is going through some hard times and has some not-so-nice people come after him. Kit is there for him. She knows a part of him others don't, and when they talk bad about him, she tries to stand up for him.

Preston and Kit's relationship develops, but she's still not into guys, and Preston doesn't believe he deserves her. I can not wait to see what happens next in this series. So much has happened in this book, and I'm curious to see where Preston and Kit end up!

would be a 5 if there was a next book

I love their story. so much heart and depth. it kills me that it only works because of secrets though. glad all the other characters are in it but they were NOT so dramatic were they?

Better but no Complicated Hearts

This book is better than part 1. The characters are more developed. You get some background information that illuminates why the characters feel and act as they do. There are definitely many laugh out loud moments. Unlike Complicated Hearts, this book is very PG. There is no reason this should be a 3 part series. If the author removed all of the redundancies from part 1, this series could have been completed in 2 books like Complicated Hearts which is far superior.

Bluff

No one writes a complicated slow burn like Ashley Jade.
Bluff is the second book in the Complicated Parts Trilogy and the perfect continuation to Kit and Prestons story.
