Publisher's Summary

With a single decision, Olivia Germaine’s fantasy has become a reality. Now, she’s faced with two commitments - one she must make, and one she must break. Everything is what David Dylan wants to give her, and it’s what he demands in return. He’ll do anything to prove to Olivia that despite his playboy ways, he’s worth leaving behind the stable future her husband can offer her.

But even though he’s a man who always gets what he wants...this time, David may be fighting for something unattainable.

Long and brining

I really enjoyed this series until the final installment. The story dragged out longer than it needed. The characters seemed much more immature from the previous two books. I found myself resenting Olivia and her constant back-and-forth. The only redeeming quality of this book was Andi Arndt and her superb narration.

Olivia is SOOOO WHINY

I feel like a few other reviewers. Olivia is so whiny. She keeps doubting herself and second guessing everyone's motives. Just make a decision and stick with it. Every time she started to whine I wanted to skip ahead. At times difficult to listen to. Other than the whine, I loved the story. It was relatable. It could happen to anyone. And of course, the narration was great!

He's More Patient Than I Am!

Finally! I admitted to being a hypocrite about the first book, because I'm not really into stories about cheating. Then I had to admit that the second book just barely kept me hanging on, but the middle book in a trilogy is notorious for being the toughest to write (and read) because it is by nature very content-heavy. But at long last, book three truly satisfied me. Yippee! As a reader, I got everything I wanted out of the series, and was very satisfied. I will only admit to having a vague and slightly transient feeling of wanting to tape Olivia's mouth shut a few times when she would start her ritualistic "what if" scenarios. Goodness, that girl needed some therapy. She seriously has a relational self-destruct thing going on; as soon as things start going smoothly she stirs up the waters because she doesn't really know how to be happy! All I could think was that while David wasn't perfect, he was amazingly patient to tolerate the same ol' thing happening again and again. But, hey, when you love someone...

Too long

Olivia has to be the most whiny character I’ve ever read in a book. I was expecting a better finish to this story. We could have had less turmoil for the main characters. I just can’t get over how whiny Olivia was.

A beautiful tale of true love and heartache

If you were already married and met someone by chance and the pull is inexplicably strong , what would you do? Leave your husband and go to him....this is a tale of heartache, lots of baggage and indecision at times. But the love btw Olivia and David fought against bitter anger, sadness and fear...great series and narration was phenomenal by Andi Arndt

Yass andi!

Although im not all of unfaithful relationship the conclusion of this series was beautiful. The female lead is blah she is hard to understand hard and David is a bit of possesive and controlling guy. But all in all i love the series read the whole thing all weekend!! Andi nailed it as always!

Love this story. Hate Lucy.

This was a great conclusion to the series. Watching David and Olivia work through her traumas and build a truly deep and strong relationship was extremely satisfying. But I cannot and will never get over what an unsupportive and horrible friend Lucy was. She is the kind of person who is only interested in knowing and being friends with her idea of who a person is. The moment a person decides to step outside of the boundaries she has decided you must live in she is out. That girl is a total B****. I was totally disappointing that Gretchen would be willing to continue a friendship with someone who would just drop all contact with a lifelong friend the way that Lucy did. Olivia is way better off without that kind of toxic relationship in her life. I know this is a bit of a rant on a character and not really a book review. I've listen to this book series countless times. It is satisfying every time. Andi Arndt is an outstanding narrator and brings the main characters to life. You can hear the longing and frustrations. The conflicts aren't contrived. These are two very real and flawed characters working through their issues to build a strong and lasting bond. I love this series.

Awesome book

Wow, the three books that make up this story are all brilliant and this last one is so well written. The narrator is brilliant and I will certainly buy more from this author

Great ending

Even though I thought initially I wasn't going to like this series because of its taboo content (infidelity) I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I liked the story and I liked the characters and I loved the narration. My only negative was the back and forth that the female lead went through - her making a quicker decision would have pleased me more.
