Excellent!

All the good stuff you expect from Toni Anderson: loads of action, tight plotting, lots of heat, strong main characters, and the backup cast you know and love!

Hot and tense

There was absolutely nothing I disliked. I have read and listened to all of Toni’s books. Every one of them can be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading the cold series first to latest. All of them are filled with such knowledge, suspense and hot, hot romance. Can’t wait for the next one!!!

Another thrilling and sensational ride!

Jordan Krychek is an FBI HRT operator who is living a life of duty and service but is dealing with some deep-seated traumatic stress. He holds himself responsible for the death of his family because of his job. His family was murdered horrifically, and it haunts him that the perpetrator got away. His best friend and teammate, Kirk Montana, asks him to look after his daughter, Daisy, while he is away wrapping up another mission. Jordan takes this vow seriously and follows Daisy to another country, where she is attending a conference. That's where the trouble begins, and the excitement is non-stop! Jordan must save Daisy from the very man who murdered his family. Daisy is smart and helps Jordan bring this man to justice.

There were a few twists and turns and some betrayals from other team members that he thought he could trust. They also get help from some special FBI members we have come to love along the way. Eric G. Dove gives another stellar performance and brings the action to life. I honestly have given each of the books in this series 5 stars across the board. There is nothing bad to say about Toni Anderson's writing!

Bingeworthy

I stayed up entirely too late last night so I could finish listening to the ever yummy Eric G. Dove narrate this thrilling, enticing, action-packed book by Toni Anderson, and my only disappointment is that it, like all great books before it, came to an end.

Friendship, trust, betrayal, loss, courage, forgiveness, justice, and perseverance are some of the underlying themes in Daisy and Jordan’s twisty, steamy journey from enemies to lovers, as they try to stop a hateful mastermind from destroying everything and everyone they love.

I gratefully received a free copy of this audiobook, but that did not affect my review.

The detail in this story is amazing.

I love stories about the Hostage Rescue Team and the brave, strong women they fall for!
