The beginning of the end
I love the relationship between John & Carmen. John Stone is my favorite solver of murders. It is nerve wracking when Dehan is threatened. Looking for to the last book with some sadness.

another nail biter with sharp turns around every page
blake banner doesn't disappoint with book 29 in the Cold Case series. I thought I had figured it out half way through when the story started to wind down. well I thought wrong. last half of a chapter and it all came together. starting book 30 immediately. I'll be really sad when I come to the last word.

It can’t be over!!!
I have listened to this entire series. It was so incredibly good that the idea of not hearing the quirky relationship of John and Deon. I’m not sure it can be beat.
