Publisher's Summary

A year in Australia working as a doctor sounds like a great idea to Autumn. She can escape the cold English weather, her ex-husband, and a stalker. A year to get her life back together and not have any romantic involvements.

"Love them and leave them wanting" is Brett’s motto. That is until he sees Doctor Autumn Blake. This lady just might get through that tough layer he has built around himself.

Can the sexual chemistry they feel be just that, or could it be more?

Is one year long enough for these two people to forget their pasts and grab onto a chance of love or will they lose it forever?

Male role read by female

I liked the story and the narrators, except for the female reading the male part, sounded like Katherine Hepburn. Very distracting for me.

Can’t abide Summer Roberts

Bailed on the book simply because I could not listen to the female narrator. Terrible accents both english and Aussie. I ADORE Will Watt. No idea if the story was good or not.

Didn't finish

I honestly didn’t really feel a connection between Brett and Autumn. Just didn't do it for me, by 40% I have up. I think this book could have hooked me sooner if the drama and issues with Autumn’s stalker and the girl from Brett’s past had shown up sooner in the book. That is when I really a little into it but the story was not my cup of tea.

Good

Very good. Loved the strong characters. I loved how they were both strong without being overwhelming. Such a good book.

Cute

The first book that started the “Hero Club Series” Soraya and Graham’s story Is “Stuck-Up Suit” by ViKeeland and Penelope Ward it took me forever to figure it out.
You don’t need to read the first book but if you want to....

Easy listen

The story was good for this type of book. The male narrator was excellent and I enjoyed his performance. You could hear the smile in his voice. The female narrator had a very pleasant voice, but the accents weren’t very good. I’d be happy to listen to both narrators again, as long as she sticks to her natural accent.

Australian Blue Mountains

In this story you find romance, love, hope, and suspense to keep you on your toes. Autumn is in Australia to get her head on straight and figure out what life should be for her. Brett is an Australian native. He works as a carpenter and happens to be Autumn's neighbor for the foreseeable future. There is obviously chemistry between Brett and Autumn. Brett and Autumn had a lot going on in their lives. This is a fast paced story with plenty of action to keep things going.

Not hot

One of the aspects of a great romance is the hot romance between the main characters. Maybe it was the boring dialogue or the uncaptivating narration, but I only got through chapter 7 before throwing in the towel on this story. I wouldn’t recommend this book.
