Soooo worth a credit.

Cannot think of a reason why you shouldn’t listen to this, other than you’ll get hooked and finish both released books to quickly and have to wait for the next!! Soooo good. Nothing quite like this book, I’m obsessed.

Sooo so good

I had severe book withdrawal when I finished all of Sarah J Maas’s series. I am soo happy I found these I love them would definitely recommend!

MUST. READ.

After not seeing many reviews, I wasn’t sure what to think. But I am so glad I got this audiobook. The audio performance was INSANELY good and spot on with the characters and the story was keeping me engaged and needing more from start to finish! I had to listen straight through and I can’t remember the last time I was this excited for the next book. THIS IS A MUST READ.

Good plot, smart

The plot in this book is good. And the heroine is not a simple, ditzy person. She is smart. And there are great witty , humorous dialogue. Sexy book but there is actually only one blown sex scene, and it is short & sweet (I get tired of sex scenes that last a whole chapter!). I also enjoyed the narrator.....was great with different voices.

It was okay

I like the storyline. makes me want to know what's next but wish the main character had more spark.

Very interested in the next one

I really enjoyed this book and I'm looking forward to the next one. It's got a quick pace and enough excitement to keep you hooked.

Sexy, funny, exciting!

Okay I’ve been binging a lot of fantasy and horror and romance and sci-fi lately, and City of Thorns is by far my favorite so far! I adore the protagonist! She just seems so real to me! Like I want to be her friend! 😂 her reactions and internal dialogue are so funny and realistic! I connected with her so much! Her relationship with her bestie felt genuine! The chemistry between her and Orion felt very authentic as well!

Loved the mystery and intrigue! Love the villains! I just loved it! Now on the the next books!

A fun and easy read

I had no idea what this book was about, I'd just heard that it was really good, so I had no idea what I was getting into...but I loved it! Literally didn't even know it was about demons even though the cover says "the demon queen trials" right on it 😅. I love a good murder mystery and if it takes place in a fantasy setting, even better! Rowan's character was relatable, but Mortana was more fun to read. Orion is lovely and with that ending I can't wait to see how their relationship evolves in book 2!

The narration for me was just okay, I thought some of her inflections were strange choices and I never felt like I was fully immersed in the world.

Great story

I loved this book - the story and narration were excellent. A nice twist at the end with some questions that still aren't answered. I also liked how the narrator had a different voice and tone for every character, very well done.

Enjoyed this!

I was wary at first not going to lie, however I was more and more invested in the story as it went on - this was a delicious read with a good balance of steam and story.

Performance: Great job with all the characters voices and j love that Orion sounded masculine and I could tell the characters apart.

Excited to read the next one!
