Chocolat - written and read by Joanne Harris.
Chocolat, one of my favourite books that I keep going back to like an old friend, is read by the author herself- so beautifully. Enthralling; couldn’t wait to get back to listening.
In my opinion, the two of Joanne Harris’ books read by the author herself, are, by far, the best of the Harris books available on Audible.
Audible!!! We need more read by the author.

Delicious!
This book is a wonderful, multi-layered masterpiece. The author leads you into the narrow streets of the village and into the very heart of its inhabitants. Her internal dialogue, and that of her nemisis move the story along with a natural and appealing grace. The film was great, the book is greater.

Lovely listen, I’d forgotten how good this book is
I read this book years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m now visually impaired and so often listen to books rather than read them.
It was wonderful to listen to the book read by the author. The story was just as good as I remembered, better actually than when I read it as I could relax and just listen to the beautiful tale as it was meant to be told.

Chocolate!
The books it’s self, is fairly boring and a basic story. Where one is able to look ahead and work out what is going to happen. Yet a good book for a cold winters night. It is also not shortened for anyone who wondered whether it was :)

Sweet like chocolat
Sweet, quite similar to the movie that I watched like 20 years ago. I was surprised to find out that there are four books in this series; Im not sure what else there is to write about but ... in for a penny!

This newer edition of the King James Bible published in 1769 is usually preferred by most that read it over the older 1611 version. This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed....
