The relationship dynamic was perfect

Summer did awesome narrating this compelling story. It might have been better as a dual narration, but that could also be my own preference where Monoromance is concerned. Could not put this one down!

Great story, deku voice actor hurting

I honestly loved this book, but the lady reading this sounds like shes legitimately trying to impersonate an anime child. Its really hard to get into the story with her doing this inflection on every single word

Great teenage romance dragged down by a terrible narrator.

I liked the story quite a bit, but the narrator needs work. another reviewer said deku voice and I have to agree, she needs to work on her male voices and curb her valley girl accent because it leaks heavily into an ostensibly Australian?South African? setting. The female lead plays rugby but the exact location is never elaborated on. I think any other narrator would have worked better because her accent is genuinely cringe inducing at times.

The said the writing is great with a smattering of internet slang. The supporting cast ranges from crackhead to wholesome friends and family.

Definitely a recommended read for lovers of supernatural romance.

Great story, now if they were just out of high school... Otherwise perfect and the role reversal really sold this for me. Unique!

Honestly an amazing love story. A wonderful Romance for Men example of the genre. The relationship dynamics and tropes are handled spectacularly. I can’t wait for Jessica’s Loser.
