A little long

I liked the story well enough but it felt a little long. I don’t love back and forth timelines either. I also didn’t really like the male narrators voice.

Perfect

Oh this book was perfect 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭. Blair and Denver are the definition of perfect and meant to be. I really enjoyed the narrators. I haven’t read the most perfect couple in a long time. This book was emotional. Blair’s worry about losing her memory like her mother and Denver reassuring her that he’d be there no matter what- ugh MY HEARTTTTT. This will definitely be a reread. I miss them already.

I absolutely loved the characters, the story, and the spice content is also a plus 😉

Exceeded expectations!

Added to my favs! This is by far the best in the series. The flash backs give you more insight to the family of wells ranch and how it all went down with the parents. I loved it for Denny and Blair’s background too. This had way more depth and emotion than your usual cowboy romances. Top tier for me!

Just didn’t feel right

I don’t know what it was, but these narrators just didn’t feel like the right fit. I found myself NOT wanting to listen because the MMC narrator didn’t sound like Denver. I think this could’ve benefited from a different MMC narrator who sounds younger.

Loved this second chance cowboy romance ♥️

Second chances aren’t always my thing. But I honestly loved how Bailey Hannah wrote this second chance romance of Blair and Denver.
Blair and Denver fell in love as kids and had a difficult separation during their college years. This left the two of them not seeing each other in years. But when Blair moves back home to help her family, of course she can’t avoid Denver anymore.
I loved getting to see the dual timeline of Denver and Blair meeting as kids and their friendship slowly turning into more while also seeing who they are today and how their past has shaped them and created reservations about their feelings for each other. I loved how Bailey wrote their story with consideration and care for who they are now and what they needed as adults to move forward.

Swoon!!

Best book in the series (so far). I absolutely fell in love with Blair & Denver! Your heart breaks and then it's beautifuly put back together.

It’s everything

This book is true love, heartbreak, healing, grief, and everything in between. Everything feels *real* between the first love and second chance dynamics to the family caregiving and loss. As someone who doesn’t get worked up very easily, I recommend keeping tissues nearby. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Couldn’t have picked two better narrators for these characters, too!

Too long. Repetitive. Storyline lacked substance. Overall disappointed.

I was disappointed in this book. It was too long, not a ton of substance to fill those pages & often repetitive. By 60% in, I just wanted it to be over. It was also pretty predictable for the most past. I have enjoyed the previous novels so much more. I just couldn't get very invested in this one.
Savannah Peachwood's narration was 5 stars.
The male was a difficult listen for me. He didn't suit the role IMO. I also read while simultaneously listening. Seemed the story wasn't enough for the number of pages, leading to a lot of repetition. Overall just meh. Mad I spent money on the book (as it wasn't in KU) & wasted a credit on audiobook.
