Publisher's Summary

"I promise, I'm not going anywhere. I found everything that I never thought I wanted right here with you."

Cecil is an unconventional omega. Owner of Second Chances, Hollydale’s thrift store and consignment shop, the closest he wants to get to an alpha is when he picks one up for a few hours of fun on a Saturday night. And even then, they’d better be polite enough to disappear before he wakes up. Yet for some reason, after picking up Hollydale’s most elusive playboy bachelor for a spot of fun after Tom’s wedding, Cecil is almost relieved to find Ian still there the following morning when he gets the call from a social worker that he’s been named the guardian of an orphaned two-day-old infant.

Ian’s entire adult life has been spent climbing the ladder to partnership at his law firm and squeezing in a little fun with omegas in his spare time. Settling down with one and starting a family is so far from his thoughts, it’s laughable. So why does he find himself sticking around to help the adorably awkward omega as he struggles to keep a tiny human alive?

Return to Hollydale for a little post-holiday fun while Ian and Cecil figure out that sometimes, sticking around is more fun than a one-night stand.

This is the fourth audiobook of the Hollydale Omegas series. This audiobook most likely contains an HEA. Eighteen-plus listeners only please! And yes, this audiobook contains Mpreg, adults adulting in sexy grown-up ways, and way more than an occasional use of potty-mouth language.

Do not let the length of this book fool you.

I really enjoyed this book. I remember Cecil way back in Cinnamon Spiced Omega and I enjoyed him there. There was not much we knew about his aside for the fact he liked to go on vacay and he owned a thrift store. Ian on the other had we knew a lot about. He broke Tom's heart after we met him in Pumpkin Spiced Omega. I did not want him book but Ms. Susi Hawke so yes you will get it and you will enjoy him.

I enjoyed Ian and Cecil's relationship. Who would have thought Ian would be the one who enjoys kids and knows how to hold one. LOL There were a lot of different revelations that occurred in this book which caught me off guard but in a good way. I am glad that we got to see some of the old characters and a couple of ones that we might have forgotten about but will have a book soon.

I love this series and I love Drew Bacca's voice. Every time I hear 'This is Drew Bacca for Falcon Sound Company' I know it is going to be a good listen.

Cute & Sweet

This is a really cute and sweet story of an alpha and an omega who neither one was looking for a long term relationship. Ian and Cecil thought they would have a one-night stand but when Cecil is named guardian of a child, Ian sticks around to help him. The more time they spend together the less they want to be apart. It was great watching them grow closer as the story progressed. The narrator did a really good job with the story and with all of the characters. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

loved Cecil and ian

These 2 made the perfect couple, even though neither wanted to be with anyone long-term. It had its sad and tense moments but everything worked out perfectly. And that fight scene at the end had me cheering Tom on,that scene was a long time coming so don't miss it.

Really enjoyable

Ok, first of all, the cover matches the characters! I really liked that it really captured the essence of Cecil and Ian, in looks and mannerisms. It really comes together amazingly well.
The story was really sweetly written. Sometimes you just need a happy, feel good read without a bunch of angst, and this fit the bill. Ok, yeah, I DID cry, but it was that good! It can be read as a standalone even though it is in a series.
Drew Bacca did a terrific job on this audiobook, especially when he portrayed Cecil reading his friend’s letter. Gah, I cried buckets. It was really enjoyable and if I had any complaints it would be that I wished it was longer in length.

Insta-lust to insta-family. Cute mpreg story.

This was a cute mpreg story, very much a whirlwind romance with an instant family thrown in for good measure.

I do think everything happened really fast, and the change from confirmed bachelors to coupledom felt a bit rushed. I’d have preferred it if there had been a little more introspection, maybe a tiny bit of angst or a talk about their feelings. Not to say that I didn’t like the way they fell into being a family so naturally as they did. That was actually quite sweet.

I liked the camaraderie and the banter between the couple and their mutual friends. The mystery neighbor was also a nice touch, though more could have been made of him and the eventual explanation of the mystery surrounding him.

This book is part of a series, but can be read as a standalone.

Narration:
Drew Bacca has a pleasant voice and does a good job bringing out the character’s emotions, though I’d have liked there to have been a bit more of a difference between the voices of both MC’s.

Ian meets his match

Cecil is not looking for an alpha for more than a night and children are definitely not in his life plan at this moment. So, he takes Ian home for one night...that turns into so much more. After finding out his best friend from college has left him his newborn son, Cecil starts on the path to be a father, with some hilarious moments along the way. Ian can't seem to leave Cecil and is right beside him as they learn to be fathers to Joshua. Add in a few surprises and the alpha that killed Bruce, you have a Hollydale story that will keep you entranced until the end.

This series keeps getting better and better!

Champagne Spiced Omega is book 4 in the Hollydale Omegas series by Susi Hawke and while it could technically be read/listened to as standalone, all the books feature the previous couples, so I suggest reading them in order. Plus, really, you'll be missing out on great books otherwise.

We met Ian in the previous book as Tom's workaholic ex and while he definitely wasn't Tom's match, he was a fairly likable guy. It was nice to see that with the right man, he was willing to go above and beyond what was expected from a hook-up when Cecil needed his help. I just loved him and Cecil together. They made a great team and were really hot together.

This book was so much fun to listen to with all the guys had to endure to learn how to take care of baby Josh and kind of reminded me of being a new mom of twin girls. Oh, the memories! LOL

And of course, it's always great catching up with the rest of the gang, which has grown exponentially with all the babies. I don't know how Susi Hawke does it, but every new book in the series is better than the previous.

Drew Bacca keeps surprising me with the wide range of voices he can provide. His narration is just about perfect, giving the book the necessary emotion in all the scenes. You can't go wrong with either the book or the audiobook, but if possible, I suggest getting the audiobook, you won't regret it.

I am such a fan of this sweet and sexy series. Ian and Cecil's story is a great addition! I loved the connection and dynamics between these two. This story is filled with love, humor, sweetness and heat! I couldn't stop once I started listening to this book. Drew Bacca does an amazing job of bringing these characters to life. I thoroughly enjoyed his narration!

Bubbles and trouble

I love the Hollydale Omegas series, and Drew Bacca does a wonderful job of bringing my favourite characters to life.
This one picks up during the wedding reception of fiery Tom and his alpha Dr. Colin with one of Tom's best friends Cecil, who owns the second-hand shop, and flighty alpha lawyer Ian, who is notoriously hard to pin down.
I was glad to see Ian finally find the omega who is meant for him and become a more likeable version of himself.
I recommend that you join Cecil as he tames the wild alpha, as I laughed out loud when Ian says "Honey, I'm home!" only to find himself in a room full of their utterly gob-smacked omega friends and their bemused alpha partners.

Cute a little slow

I feel like for every book of this series I keep saying it's cute, but it is lol. These are just kinda sweet, fluffy, feel good romances with some sexy spice added in too. I really liked both of the characters in this one and the story was good, but I kinda felt like too much of the book regurgitated a guide to baby raising and though that the book would have been paced better if maybe the author didn't spell out so much of everything for us. Over all it was a good instalment to the series but not my favourite. I really enjoyed Drew's narration though.

That letter!

I have absolutely loved this series in audio. Drew Bacca does an excellent job of being all the characters involved. The idea of two child phobic guys ending up a family was delicious. It was funny to listen to, but that letter just made me cry, (as I’m sure it was supposed to 😉) It wouldn’t have been a Hollydale tale without the guardian angels having a say. I listened to this doing the ironing, it definitely made it less painful. Susie Hawk writes a delightful mpreg book.
