Sweet and fun!

Chocolate Spiced Omega was another fun and sweet installment in The Hollydale Omegas series. I suggest you read or listen to the previous books beforehand because there are a lot of recurring characters and frankly, they're easy, light reads that I'm pretty sure everyone can enjoy.

While I adored Kevin, it took me longer to warm up to Pierre and really, I wanted to bash his head in when he started the whole competition between their businesses. Never mind that I really couldn't get why Tom and Milo didn't take the time to reassure Kevin when they started siding up with Pierre about it all.

Still, as I said, the book is short and fun with just a dash of angst and Drew Bacca's narration was pretty good, as always. I loved that he even treated us to a bit of his singing voice and I definitely have no trouble recommending this or any of the previous books in the series!

Sweet and a little spicy

Kent reminds me of an overgrown puppy, in the best possible way!

He and Pierre are so adorable, and it's good to finally see him get a happy ending.

As always Hawke's writing style is fantastic, but once again, I just didn't connect with Bacca in this book as much as I did in Peppermint Spiced Omega. He's not bad, it's just something about his inflections in Kent's voice, although I found his Pierre very good.

Food fights and fun

Another cute installment in the Hollydale Omega series, this story runs the gamut of emotions from laughter to rage to love, with a healthy helping of humor along the way. Pierre and Kent are destined to meet, destined to fight, and destined to fall in love. The narration adds an extra touch of special to this story of two men who cannot seem to agree about anything outside of the wild chemistry that rocks them whenever they allow themselves to let go. The altercation that precipitates their reconciliation and eventual commitment to each other is simultaneously hilarious and hot as hell. And of course, that touch of the supernatural, present in each of the stories so far, adds extra magic to this one, even if the wielder of that magic is a bit awkward and keeps missing the mark, pun intended! If you don't mind the speedy move from one-night-stand-lovers to cautious neighbors to raging competitors to friends to true lovers and husbands, you'll enjoy this little romp immensely. Obviously, Drew Bacca's narration helped tremendously with my overall appreciation of this story. He did a great job, as he usually does, of making me "see" and "hear" these people.

Another Adorable Hollydale book!!!

Every time I listen to a new Hollydale book I have to rethink who my favorites are. This was another adorable addition to this series complete with a very snarky and headstrong omega, a determined alpha, and of course a magical friend that keeps interfering. These two cracked me up, especially when Kent confronted Pierre in his kitchen, I was laughing so hard at their antics and could actually picture the whole scene in my head. Susi Hawke definitely knows how to write cute stories that make you smile and warm your heart...bring on the next one. Drew Bacca's narration was excellent and made this story enjoyable to listen to. I highly recommend this entire series.
