Publisher's summary

Ren is in desperate need of a rebound fling. Lucky for him, the smoking hot contractor he hired has just the tool for the job.

The last thing I want is another relationship or another broken heart.

All I need are my bees and the occasional hookup to scratch the itch.

Okay, maybe meeting up with my hot contractor weekly is a little more than occasional. And maybe the way I’m starting to feel about the guy I’ve been anonymously chatting with online should concern me.

But CaulkyAF doesn’t want to meet, and Cole doesn’t want anything serious, so what’s the worst that could happen?

Caulky is book one in the Four Bears Construction Series and can be listened to as a stand-alone. This is a funny, steamy MM story guaranteed to make you laugh and swoon. Absolutely no cheating and no love triangle. This series does not contain shifters, it's the other kind of bears.

Good but missed the mark.

I've enjoyed the first 2 stories so far, your typical MM love story. But that's the problem, I wasn't looking for typical; I was looking for bears. There is just nothing about bears or furry guys in these stories. In the beginning the guys would be described as "hairy" but that's it. No where in the sex would there be any descriptions of what makes a hairy guy so sexy: Running your fingers thru a thick pelt of hair on his chest or the fuzzy feeling of his hairy arms or legs brushing against you or the rug burn you got from the thick stubble on his face or how his chest hairs tickle your nose as you snuggle together. Nor do you get a visual description of any hairyness. There are multiple points (especially in the 2nd book as neighbor's) of him mowing shirtless, standing on the deck shirtless, masturbating out on the deck shirtless etc. just shirtless activities but NO mention of his sweaty, HAIRY chest. Just about muscles and sweat. Good lord, the visual of a muscular, sweaty chest verses a muscular hairy chest with sweat dripping off the hair is vastly different.

Out of 800+ book I've returned less than 10 but I did return these. The same with reviews, I've probably written less than 10 but felt I had to warn people, these are great typical MM stories. The characters were cool, I liked them, but there was NOTHING here about bears or furry, hairy guys aside from the initial physical description. Not once, thru an entire sex scene, would there be any mention of hair or hairyness.

I picked up this book on a recommendation from another author and I am so glad I did. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The characters were realistic, funny and lovable. I loved that this was just a fun, flirty and sexy contemporary romance with no drama. I finished this book with a smile on my face.

The narration was great. I enjoyed both of them but I do think they sounded very similar so at times I lost who's POV the story was on but it didn't hurt my experience of the audiobook. I especially enjoyed Tim Paige, this was my first of his audiobooks and will be looking for more of his work.

Hot and enjoyable

This was a pleasure to read, but the audio has brought so much more to the table. Tim Paige and Liam DiCosimo brought Neuhold's characters to life. The story flowed nicely between the two narrators, and I was able to distinguish the various characters in the book. Neuhold always does an amazing job with the steamy scenes throughout the book, and Paige and DiCosimo did a great job performing the sexy times Ren and Cole get up to.
If you are in the mood for a steamy, romantic read with low angsty, you can't go wrong with this one.

It's the bee's knees

This book somehow manages to be adorable and super hot! Great story with likable characters. It has very little angst. Sometimes you just need a story like this. I'd call it a palate cleanser, and it is in a way, but it's more than that too. Overall, it's a great book worth the listen. I'm not sure I’m familiar with these narrators, and they did a great job. There were moments they sounded a bit alike, but it didn't detract in any way. Love the duel narration and hope to see more of in mm in the future.

Excellent

Everything about this is amazing. I had already read the book about five times, but the performance brought a new dynamic, and it was so well done. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go re-listen to it.

This book was amazing!!!

I think I was either laughing, smiling or borderline crying the entire time I was listening to this audio. It is the first book released narrated by up and coming narrator, Liam DiCosimo, but we will be hearing a lot of amazing things about this guy in the future. He worked so well with Tim Paige and these two were perfect for their characters. I loved the balance and emotions that they portrayed. The book was great. Humor, heat, angst and I love a great ironic story like this. Can't say enough good things about this one. If you are a fan of MM Rom-Coms, this is a MUST listen. Can't wait for the next installment from the Four Bears Construction world!

And you remodeled my heart

Okay, I own most of this author’s audios/books and there’s a reason for that because I absolutely loved her “Heathens Ink” series. And when I saw this new series coming out as an audio, I knew I must get them. And boy oh boy, what a treat this little tasty audio is!

Ren just got out of a 5 years long relationship. He’s desperate, unhappy, sad and seriously in need of a rebound to escape his self-pity and misery. And lucky for him, hot and irresistibly sexy Cole was packed up neatly and arrived in front of him when he went to a bar. They had one night of hot, explosive passion together and they thought it was the end of it. But turns out it was just the beginning of EVERYTHING!

It’s really funny, sweet, fluffy and so lovey-dovey! This single-dog listener was abused to death by their sweet sweet sugar romance and I will come back for more abuse! This is almost angst free. There’s a little situation where Ren has been hurt by his previous relationships and was a bit afraid of commitment but it was solved quickly. I have always had a thing for those manly man and our sexy contractor Cole ticked my every box and so was Ren’s. These two are just too cute together. I also loved the little plot twist with online thing but I won’t spoil too much lest it would affect your listening. Anyways, highly highly recommended! Tim Paige and Liam DiCosimo’s performance was absolutely spot on too! I can’t wait to start listening book 2! Lucky for me, they are already out! 😍

Very entertaining!

4 Blue Roses
4 Blue Flames

Narrators Tim Paige and Liam DiCosimo slid most definitely together into the plate. They complimented each other and narrated like champions. This is the start of an excellent series. Their sexy voices fit the character personalities which in turn produced a very enjoyable listening experience.

I’ve done my homework. According to Home Depot website: “The terms “caulk” and “sealant” are often used interchangeably since both are used to fill cracks, joints, and seams. The biggest difference between caulk and sealant is elasticity. Caulk is more rigid than sealants when dry. Sealants hold up better in spaces that are prone to a lot of expansion and contraction.” OMG, if you are not already laughing there must be an issue of low serotonin production. Go talk to your HCP lol.
These profound innuendos are not only excluded to the titles in the series but also very subtly pops up throughout the audiobook, especially during character dialogues. This, coupled with the great narration highlighted the humor and fun found in the listening experience. The characters and their stories are original and very relatable, I found the introduction to the rest of the brothers intriguing. I will continue with this series. For some reason, I thought this is a bear shifter romance. I can confirm it’s not the case 🥳.

Ren and Cole develop a double relationship with each other. In reality where they meet up and have sex and online anonymously where they share their personalities, their true selves. They bare their souls to each other without knowing the truth, while we get to experience the hidden reasons why most relationships blossom and others don’t.

The author constructed a very intelligent storyline. Although it is a rom-com, it has a lesson wrapped up inside it all, leaving a serious life lesson with you to ponder after the narrator says “the end”.

I absolutely recommend this audiobook.

Happy Listening
