Man:s Best Friend

I just LOVED this story. It's the best I've heard in a long time! The perseverance of these moving compassionate people just goes me away! What's better than a story about man's best friend?

Just spent n enjoyable hour+ cleaning and cooking peppers, listening to this delightful short book. This is a story for your whole family, well written and well told.

Great story for dog lovers

My husband and I listened to this together. We enjoyed the detailed descriptions of the dog and those trying to catch him. We shared in their frustrations and rejoiced when he was found.

What never giving up gets you

I’m a Vermont native, and somehow missed this story. Very inspiring story showing how much love a man held for his best friend, and how a community took notice and helped offer resources to bring back Murphy. Great story

pretty good

I was hesitant at first because i have just lost my Golden Retriever but when i saw the picture on the cover i had to check it out. It had a happy ending

Heartwarming

This is an very interesting story, from content to execution. The dog’s actions show how traumatic a car accident can be to an animal. Time, patience and constancy won.

A true story about catching Murphy.

As someone that helps with multiple dog rescues, I thought this would be a warm and fuzzy dog story: it wasn't. This is a true story about a dog that is lost after an accident and the worldwide interest in helping catch him. I learned quite a bit about why some techniques to capturing a dog don't work. It was a well written book and the narration was excellent.

Perseverance and commitment

The author spent more than a year trying to capture a girl’s dog that ran away after an accident. He is patient, determined and committed to returning this beloved dog to his owner. I enjoyed the story.

Suspense until the last minute!

I didn’t expect an entire book about catching a runaway dog to be so gripping. It proved me wrong! I couldn’t go to bed (@2:21 AM) until I was sure Murphy was home where he belonged.
