Excellent Story and almost no profanity
This is an excellent mystery with many historical facts. It is nice to listen to a mystery that isn’t riddled with profanity. The characters and story line are believable and held my attention throughout the book.

Wonderful & clean read.
I love the great stories and voice of this author & reader. My only wish.... the editor would pause between chapters and character changes. I had to back up alot when a new person’s perspective came on because there was no distinction to tell me a different thought process was happening. By the time I realized it... a couple minutes has gone by. I cant wait for my next listen❣️❣️❣️👊🏻

Another of Mary Anna's Great Stories
so good that I didn't take time to savor it. Have to give it another listen. She has all of the creative machinations, characters, settings, and plot. Cassandra is a terrific narrator. She always makes every story pop.

Fantastic Fiction set against amazing history
As with all the books in this series the history used is gripping and extremely well woven into Faye's fictional world. The mystery keeps you guessing while listening to 5 star narration.
