Two great books!

Two firecrackers! Bailey is so awesome - I relate to her and I love Gavin! I’ve been waiting for his book. These audiobooks were great - they put me in the moment :) I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this audiobook.

Double the Laughs

I enjoyed these romcom books. Ma. Stewart delivered some laugh out loud one liners. I found myself chuckling out loud when listening to both these books. The characters are down to earth, loveable and bat- s*#t crazy. The characters are well developed with froth, substance, having life long friendships.

The narrators Kelseyville and Meg brought the characters to life, making themendearing to the listener. I highly recommend these books be listened to instead of reading if possible.

A great couple of laugh out loud books! Worth the Credit!

This is a wonderful couple of book! Full of laughs, smirks and fun! Below are my individual reviews on each book! I did listen to these on audio. Meg Price (The Lucky One) and Kelsey Navarro (The Game) are the narrators and they both did a great job.

This story has a lot of laugh out loud moments and smile-to-myself moments. Bailey and Jake seem to be on the same page but yet different pages at the same time. Jake mentions frequently how Bailey runs hot and cold with him and he is unsure where to go from here. Bailey keeps her heart closed down tight and doesn't trust herself to be with a man she has feelings for. When Jake is near her all he wants to do is kiss her….well not all, but the struggle to keep his lips off her is real. After reading about Jake in the previous book I wasn't sure if I would like him. Now I think he is awesome. All the great things he did for Bailey, don't get me wrong he did have a few demons of his own but he does have priorities.

I still love all these characters. It's nice to touch base with all of them again. The girls still seem tight and the relationships with their men add to this fun. I really, really liked reading about the relationship that Jake and Mark have. They have that fun brotherly love but yet savor the smackdown on each other and always have each other's back. Very enjoyable to read when they have their one on ones!

The game
There are so many things I absolutely love about this book! First of all I was so excited that Gavin finally gets his own book! I thought he was great in the first book the way he helped out his sister, Laney with her child, Rocco. This book is no different. Gavin has come a long way and he definitely gets better with age!

Emerson is a great add to this group. I really think she is going to fit in perfectly! I like how she was so worried at first and the stuff Gavin did to try change her mind. Gavin's text with reasons Emerson should date him. So cute! I love how persistent he was to get her to go out with him. I laughed out loud when Jay brought Gavin home after a baseball game unannounced and surprised Emerson! Ha ha! Loved it!

I know this is Gavin and Emerson story but I totally LOVE LOVE LOVE any time Mark, Fiona, Laney, Nate, Jake or Bailey are in a scene. They are all hilariously funny and it is a good time when they make appearances. That Fiona and Mark crack me up! A couple favorites were Karaoke night with the crew and the craft fair. Oh and when Nate asked Gavin's opinion about babies. Super funny! See there are too many to choose from!

Great Duo of Audiobooks

The stories are great. They are romantic with a bit of hilarity thrown in. Sylvie Stewart’s cast of characters from the Carolina Connection continue to weave themselves to each other’s lives and they are quite entertaining!

The readers were good, but I prefer that the dual POV be done by a woman AND a man. It would have made it better, but the readers did a decent job with each book.

Fun but headphones recommended

These stories were fun to listen to and easy stories to follow. There were enough characters to keep it interesting without getting too confusing. I did have to buy a pair of headphones to protect my son from hearing the swearing and sex.
