Publisher's summary

My blood is their salvation...and my ruin.

For years, the monsters who killed my family have held me in a cage. Brutalized and half-starved. Only kept alive so they can steal my blood.

Until one evening when four eerily gorgeous men break me out of my prison.

They give me a soft bed and delicious food. They say they'll protect me — but their generosity may come at a price.

My rescuers are monsters like my captors: fae who shift into wolves. A curse gripping the faerie realm turns them wild under the full moon. Only my blood can cure their rage.

These fearsome men need me, and not just to lift the curse. A tragedy left them outcasts, and offering me to their rulers could win them back the home and the power they lost.

No matter how kindly they treat me, no matter how their smoldering eyes and strong hands stir unfamiliar desires in both my body and my heart, their castle is just another prison. As long as I'm a prize more than a person, my life will never be my own.

I've survived this long without giving up. I won't roll over now. But how can one damaged human girl hold her own against the savage fae?

Captive of Wolves is the first in a new paranormal romance saga featuring possessive wolf shifters, fraught fae politics, and a wounded heroine coming into her own. Grab it now and get swept away in the fantasy!

Interesting

I am going to continue simply because the narrators are amazing and I usually love Eva Chase as an author. However, I'm not super excited about it. The FMC Talia is soooo whiney, breakable and irrelevant at times its painful! I want to like her and think she can be redeemed but it may take a miracle in book 2. The sexy time buildup is also painful... little to no reward as she has been to busy healing to have any fun. It also sends horrible messages about falling in love with your kidnappers that I dont want to look to hard at but it's still prevalent.

Couldn't stop listening!

Once I started listening to this book, I couldn't stop. I love how the narrators have brought these characters to life. I have gotten to the point where I listen to this author's new books rather than read them because I love her choice of narrators for her books. The stories are engrossing and amazing as always, but the narrators bring them to life in a way that is different from just reading the words on my kindle. I love how this is a different twist on fae and shape shifters and I cannot wait to see what happens next.

Great Start to this Series

I need the next book right now! That ending, man! I loved this one. Talia is such a sweet character. I cannot wait to read more about her. August is such a cinnamon bun. Silas the protector. I need to know more about Witt. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Awesome starter

I honestly kept seeing this book keep popping up so I had to give it a listen. It was worth it now I’m waiting for books 2 and 3.

OK

It wasn't too bad. Very little spice and the romantic relationship doesn't make me cheer for anyone yet not even the FL. I'll continue with the rest of the books, hopefully this one was more of an introduction to the rest :)

Overall 3.75 stars

You heart will break for the heroine. She has not had an easy life living in captivity. It was a bit slow after she meets the guys but I think it’s because it’s the first book. I absolute loved that there was jealousy and possessiveness between the male leads. I was intrigued by this world but for the romance part it was too slow for me. I hope the next book is more romance!

Narration was amazing! Both narrators completely pulled me in.

Interesting

I like the idea of this story and how it is developing however some scenes fall a little flat for me. I plan to continue the the series because I am truly interested by it.

Good book

I liked the narration a lot but the story didn’t hold my interest as much as I’d like it to lol everyone has different things they look for in a story and I personally like when all the harem in introduced in the first book (otherwise I tend to feel like the MFC is cheating lol). But overall it’s a good book!

Great New Paranormal Romance Series!

This book captured my attention from the very first page. The main character has gone through a lot and it makes sense for her to be uncertain and cautious. It’s terrible to think of all she has gone through the past eight plus years.

Narration was excellent and brought the story to life. I love having a male and female narrator. It makes a huge difference and they both did an outstanding job bringing the story to life.

This book has action, suspense, mystery, and romance. The story flows at a great pace. The world development is well done and the characters are interesting and captivating. The story has some twists and turns to keep you hooked and wondering what will happen next.

The book wrapped up with a bit of a bombshell and I can’t wait to see what will happen next. There are many unanswered questions, and I think there is more to Talia than meets the eye. I’m looking forward to finding out if I’m right.

Really Liked It!

I really enjoyed this book. I thought the narrators were the same. The guy sounds the same no matter what character was speaking in my opinion but it was pleasant to listen to. I liked how the story progressed and grabbed my attention right away! I really liked the characters and can’t wait to see how they progress as a group! I can’t wait for the next book!
