Story
Twice I’ve been kidnapped by the fae. First were the monsters who ripped me from everything I knew and threw me in a cage. Next came the men who rescued me and offered me a safe haven. But my saviors and my former captors have something in common. A decades-old curse holds all the Seelie fae in its grasp, turning them into savage, mindless beasts with the rise of the full moon. Something in my blood cures that rage like nothing else they’ve found. I didn’t expect to find love among the fae...but I can’t deny the feelings growing inside me.

Story
After my plane was sabotaged and crashed into the jungle, I rescued five male survivors from the wreckage. I could have let them die, but no, I decided to pull their stupid carcasses from the wreckage. I’m immortal, not a monster. Yes, they’re hot; now is not the time to do something about that. The five sexy jaguar-shifters are on a mission to locate someone, a rare phoenix-shifter. Phoenix, the legendary creature, reborn every time it dies. Wait…could they be looking for me? It doesn’t matter since they walked away and left me to die in the Amazon rainforest.

I've made some pretty questionable choices in the name of my witchcraft - dabbling in necromancy, double-crossing vampires - but summoning the dark goddess? That was just plain stupid. Now I’m in her debt, and goddesses don’t exactly do payment plans. She wants the blood of the dark fae warlord of Midnight, a realm of exiles where the sun never rises and torture is a competitive sport. It’s a death trap only three men have ever escaped - my newly appointed escorts.

I make a living out of screwing over the jerks who capture and torment supernatural beasties. Kinda dead. Straight-up psycho. Totally obsessed with her. I did a bad, bad thing. Thanks to a blank in my memory, I'm not sure what that thing was, but it was horrible enough to get me locked up in the mental ward for seven years. Horrible enough that my little sister won't even speak to me. But when I'm released back into a town determined to rub my unknown sins in my face, the past isn't the only thing that's haunting me. The four "imaginary" friends who made my childhood bearable barge into my life in a very real way.

Publisher's Summary
My blood is their salvation...and my ruin.
For years, the monsters who killed my family have held me in a cage. Brutalized and half-starved. Only kept alive so they can steal my blood.
Until one evening when four eerily gorgeous men break me out of my prison.
They give me a soft bed and delicious food. They say they'll protect me — but their generosity may come at a price.
My rescuers are monsters like my captors: fae who shift into wolves. A curse gripping the faerie realm turns them wild under the full moon. Only my blood can cure their rage.
These fearsome men need me, and not just to lift the curse. A tragedy left them outcasts, and offering me to their rulers could win them back the home and the power they lost.
No matter how kindly they treat me, no matter how their smoldering eyes and strong hands stir unfamiliar desires in both my body and my heart, their castle is just another prison. As long as I'm a prize more than a person, my life will never be my own.
I've survived this long without giving up. I won't roll over now. But how can one damaged human girl hold her own against the savage fae?
Captive of Wolves is the first in a new paranormal romance saga featuring possessive wolf shifters, fraught fae politics, and a wounded heroine coming into her own. Grab it now and get swept away in the fantasy!

Great start to a new series
Oh boy, a fantastic start to a new series. Talia is a human who was stolen by wolves and brought to live in a cage - somewhere. As she was unconscious when she was put in the cage she has no idea where she is or why three inhuman beings show up to take her blood. Most of the rest of the time they ignore her, except to feed her just enough to keep her alive. One night she has finally figured out how to get out of her cage and suddenly strangers show up in the room where she is kept. They are looking for something and happen upon her by accident. Emaciated, naked, and crippled she is no match for them and she is once again taken. It seems that she was what they were looking for. This time though, she wakes up in a real bed and is allowed to eat as much as she wants. She soon finds out that she is just as much a prisoner as she was before.
Sylas and his cadre have come looking for the secret to the elixir that another group of Fae is selling. It seems to be a remedy for the full-moon wildness that has been taking over the fae for some time now. Nobody knows why they suddenly started turning into wild beings on the full moon when before they shifted only when they desired to, but the elixir stops the change in its tracks. As outcasts, their clan does not often get to use the elixir. This captive human they have found in the stronghold of Aerik's pack smells just like the potion and Sylas has no qualms about taking her back to his village. Aerik should have treated her like something special, which she is, instead of like an unwanted prisoner.
Of course, trouble will follow the wolves as they try to decide what to do with her. They can turn her over to the arch-lords and perhaps gain back some of their lost honor. They can keep her hidden and try to figure out what it is about her blood that stops the curse in its tracks. They can let her return to the human realm, though that will just mean that Aerik tracks her down and takes her again. The one thing they did not take into consideration was Talia herself and how she would call to them as a person.
I won't spoil the story for you. Lots of world-building in this one and also character building. You will love meeting Sylas, August, and Whitt. Kellan - not so much. I can't wait to see what happens next. I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.

Interesting
I am going to continue simply because the narrators are amazing and I usually love Eva Chase as an author. However, I'm not super excited about it. The FMC Talia is soooo whiney, breakable and irrelevant at times its painful! I want to like her and think she can be redeemed but it may take a miracle in book 2. The sexy time buildup is also painful... little to no reward as she has been to busy healing to have any fun. It also sends horrible messages about falling in love with your kidnappers that I dont want to look to hard at but it's still prevalent.

Couldn't stop listening!
Once I started listening to this book, I couldn't stop. I love how the narrators have brought these characters to life. I have gotten to the point where I listen to this author's new books rather than read them because I love her choice of narrators for her books. The stories are engrossing and amazing as always, but the narrators bring them to life in a way that is different from just reading the words on my kindle. I love how this is a different twist on fae and shape shifters and I cannot wait to see what happens next.

I normally don't read books about fae, but I live Eva Chase's writing and had to give this a try. I am so glad I did. The story held my attention from the beginning. The dual narrations kept me engaged throughout. I hope the rest of the series comes to audio.

Sexy fae beasts 😍
This is the first book in the Bound to the Fae series. I really loved these characters. Talia develops a relationship with each of her rescuers even though she is technically a captive and can’t leave. The plot was interesting and had some steam. We got to see Talia blossom throughout the story from weak and fragile to strong and brave.
Looking forward to more of this series! The narration was really enjoyable.

Great start to a series
I enjoyed this book and the narrators. They did a great job at present each character well. This book was kinda crazy to my mind because I felt like we got quite a bit of info, but not a lot at the same time. I am super intrigued to read the rest of the books and watch the relationship develops in the harem.
This is definitely a slow burn in the sexy department, but MAN the scenes that Eva did put in made my toes tingle and my tummy flip.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request, and have voluntarily left this review.

not my life
Talia is a human that has grown up with a brutal life. She has been put in a cage and used as a test subject. She has giving up all hope but she is set free but she soon realizes the one who set her free are the same kind that locked her up. Sylas and his cadre have found more then they were looking for. This is a great read and Eva Chase is a good story teller and I can't wait to see what happens next

A good surprise
I love Eva Chase's books. For this one I had expectations, but I was also reticent... the fae... sometimes the books are great, others not so much... this one is one of the good ones.
Despite not opening the story very much, in this book we meet Talia and 4 fae who rescued her from a life of suffering. We get to know a bit about Talia's past, and also start to meet her rescuers. I loved Auguste. This was a really introductory book, so I'm with some expectations for the next book :D
The narrators are really good.
I received a free audio copy from the author for an honest review.

Bring on book 2
I received a free audio copy of this book directly from the author for an honest review.
I can say the best thing of 2020 for me was discovering Eva Chase. I have loved everything she writes and this book certainly doesn’t disappoint! As usual each character is well defined and unique. Our female lead has an inner strength despite such traumatic life she has led. The first book seems to be setting a lot of the world building and character development into place for some real action to really come into book two which I really look forward to!

I was worried about where this book starts but it works well and the story introduces the fae world and its rules and I look forward to knowing more as the series progresses.

Captive of wolves
This is book one of a series. Capture, caged and treated badly for many years by monsters she had never now existed, until she found a opportunity to escape but is taken before she has a chance. I like the way it has a male and female narrators to read the different chapters that are from different characters prospective, it did take a short time to get used to the voices but quickly got into the story. I enjoyed the interaction between the characters and I the fae wolf shifters that rescued/kidnapper her from the cage. I am looking forward to the next book to find out what happens next.

Kidnapping gone right?
This was an interesting take on an RH story as our leading lady is a kidnapping victim who is kidnapped by friendlier captors who she starts having feelings for. It’s dark and there are some places that make you wonder but it’s fiction and it’s highly entertaining. This was a solid book 1 with minimal steam. I enjoyed and am looking forward to book 2!

Pretty cool
This was a pretty cool audiobook. I loved the narration and the story was ok but ... there was something about it that would make me say it's not in my absolute favourites list. It's a good book, don't get me wrong, it just wouldn't be part of my top 10 to recommend. The narration was amazing though! Savannah Peachwood and Ryan West really added more description to the characters then I would have had if reading it as is. If you do decide to read this, I would definitely recommend you listen to it as an audiobook, because it really adds to make it even more amazing. Enjoy!
