Bill is on the hook for the Halloween homicide, so Lucy knows she's got some serious sleuthing to do. With each new lead pointing her in a different direction, Lucy sees that time is quickly running out. If she wants to spook the real killer, she'll have to step into an old ghost story....

Narrator can ruin a book

No offense to Lisa’s voice because it isn’t that but the previous narrator sounds so much more believable as Lucy

Great Mystery

I have read every book in this series and have enjoyed them all. Leslie Meier has done a great job of letting her characters grow and develop over time (the first book was written in 1991). I love Lucy, the supporting characters and the town of Tinker's Cove. The mystery in this story is well developed and well paced. I truly enjoyed this book and can't wait for the next in the series.

Different Narrator

The story is as good as usual with twists and turns until Lucy can follow her instincts to find the killer. However the narrator Lisa Larsen has a great voice and pacing. But after 22+ books in this series I couldn’t concentrate on the story because it wasn’t Lucy, or Bill, or any characters. I kept having to rewind and even admit to skipping chapters.
