It was the perfect plan.
I needed a wife - temporarily - in order to inherit the family business.
And she needed a favor - the kind that takes nine months to deliver.
We had it all worked out, from the no-touching policy on our wedding night (her rule) to the no-falling-in-love decree (mine). She’d marry me, I’d give her the means to have the baby she’d always wanted, and one year later we’d amicably part ways with no hassle, no demands, and certainly no regrets.
After all, Bianca DeRossi and I are experts at infuriating one another - we’ve been doing it since we were kids. Trouble is, she grew up gorgeous and feisty, and she still knows exactly how to get under my skin.
And that wedding night? Well, it doesn’t exactly go down hands-free.
Then she moves in with me, and I really start to lose my mind. From her sexy little pout to her wicked sense of humor to those meatball sandwiches she makes just because she knows they’re my favorite...I find myself wanting to break every rule we put in place.
Our story was never supposed to end with happily ever after.
But call me crazy, I just might be in love with my wife.

This was a fun but still poignant story especially for women who have faced issues with infertility (I would be one of them). The ups and downs, the anger and sadness and emotional instability was so well characterized in this story. I also loved how the characters grew with each other and while infertility is a serious topic, there were still some trademark laughs to go along with the tears. Overall, a well rounded story with great characters, including those from prior stories (that I have not yet read but will so because I loved this book so much!)
The narration team, including Teddy Hamilton and Samantha Brentmoor is fantastic. Both are great at infusing emotion in their reading and bringing the listener into the story.
Poignant and emotional

Fake marriage, hot back-and-forth bickering, swoon moments, I hate that I love you, steamy sex scenes…..I liked everything about Enzo and Bianca crazy love story. This story hit home and tugged at my heart since I could relate with Bianca’s struggles with infertility. Melanie Harlow did a wonderful job with this story by giving her readers a little bit of everything in Call Me Crazy. This definitely was worth the read.

Another fun and heartwarming story in the Bellamy Creek series! This tight knit group of four guy friends brings the laughter and the story for cocky and confident Enzo was an absolutely entertaining listen! I LOVED Bianca in this story, smart and spunky, she had that moxie that Enzo loved to tease her about. She was taking destiny into her own hands and making her own happily ever after. And as luck would have it, Enzo turned out to be just the man she needed to make her dreams of a family come to reality. This small town, fake marriage romance brought me a lot of laughter and joy but also a few heartbreaking moments. Bianca has a lot of fears and heartache over her own infertility issues, so while there is laughter, the story tackles a tough subject matter, bringing emotional depth to their journey together.
“You can’t insult a guy’s manhood like that—without even seeing it—and just expect him to say it’s no big deal. You besmirched the family jewels.”
Both growing up in loud, meddlesome, Italian families, a mutual need for a marriage solves both of their problems without the complications of love or so they think. The banter and chemistry between Enzo and Bianca was highly entertaining, I laughed out loud at their ridiculous wedding vows and swooned over the thoughtful ways Enzo brought happiness into Bianca’s life. Enzo may know how to give a smoldering look that would melt any woman on the spot but he truly was meant for loving Bianca and giving her all the joy she deserved. And of course there are some hot and steamy moments that only prove how excellent of a choice Enzo was as a fake husband turned lover. Overall I really enjoyed this book, definitely looking forward to Beckett’s story next!
Fun Fake Marriage Romance!

He’s been told he needs to find a wife in order to inherit the family business. He doesn’t want a wife after seeing how much his parents fight.
She came out of a bad relationship and really wants a child. She knows she will have issues getting pregnant because of her cycle and getting older.
It starts out a business opportunity for them both. He can get the family business he’s always wanted and she can have the baby she’s always wanted. There’s supposed to be no feelings between them. It’s a business deal. They aren’t to be physical, only when people are around. Well….. one thing leads to another and they are great together. Until she starts to have strong feelings and wants to protect her heart!!
The narrators were so good. Teddy Hamilton is so good at playing a cocky heart throb!! Samantha Brentmoor is a newer narrator for me but I really enjoyed her.
My favourite book of the series so far
