This is a very educational book. There is a lot of information about everything in Cades Cove. All the homesteads and people who lived there. The different churches and who the main families is. I liked that part. But there is a lot of information that I didn't need to know. My favorite part was about the civil war era. David Randall Hunter did a good job narrating this because it was more of a history book. We go to cades cove probably five or six times a year. It's got a lot of history there. It's a beautiful place to go and drive through. It takes about two hours to drive through it. If my review is any help will you please click on the helpful link below. Thank you.

There’s a lot of really fascinating information here. I thought I knew quite a bit about Cades Cove but I learned a lot. The narration can be dry and some parts read like a textbook but overall, it’s well worth it.

Great Historical Information

I loved the information given as I’m a huge fan and supporter of the park. However, the reader hardly took a breath between sentences and it felt like he was reading one long sentence.

Take a breath!!
