Fantastic presentation of chart options based on the story you are trying to tell to your audience.

Great Examples

While data visualization does not sound like something one could “see” on Audible, the explanation is super easy to follow and the pdf makes for easy reference. The examples provided in the PDF are almost self explanatory and ready to apply. Great narration and keeper me engaged throughout.

Great personality, great content

The narrator who is also the writer did an excellent job both with her content and her delivery. I know have a more integrated and in depth view of data visualization. A must for any professional in corporate America. Even if you don’t work with data directly, it is very useful for understanding data which can sometimes seem obscure

Highly Recommend If You Want Better Presentations

I am impressed with this book! I've been looking for tips and tricks to present data. This book does a great job explaining different graphs and charts. It's presented in a way where it's not boring like a textbook. She provides tactics to enhance your storytelling when using data and identifies the important info to highlight. So glad I came across this! This was very well written and narrated!

Love it

It was a bit hard understanding the graphs without the PDFS. But the narrator clearly stated what was on the graph in her PDF such as axis titles, data point labels, colors etc. I actually downloaded the PDF since it was confusing without. At that point the information stuck much better. I am new to data science, and I'm glad this focused on the visual aspects of design and the narrative. It kept things simple for me. I would say this book is a very good beginners guide to working with data visualizations.

I love that this audible came with a simplified PDF of the examples. It made it a lot easier to understand and follow along to. It's also a great reference to refer back to when designing my own data visualizations.
