Eye opening and riveting story

This was a wholly cow am I going to be able to hear this one 😬 Reverse Age Gap, older women vs older man heck yeah then throwing in the past with both characters intertwined and wholly yikes. But I kept going and thank god I did because Sara Cate opened my eyes to these two and how sometimes the past doesn’t determine the future or even the present.

Seriously sexy scenes, torment and disturbing pasts abound in this book and the narration kept me fully engaged. Gideon made Cullen go between determined survival to demented tortured soul but we got to see how the past formed him and how his thoughts changed over time spent with Everly the first person who seemed to care. I’m not going to lie and say that at first I wasn’t shocked by the sexual relationship between the main characters. But Allie Martina’s performance and Sara’s crafted story telling reeled me into the story and thank his for its HEA.

Hmmm.. yummy..

Sara is an amazing kinky writer and this was just as amazing as all the others. Must read and cant wait till the second book comes out with the audio
Allie and Gideon did a great job on the narration.

HOT! HOT! HOT!

I have read this book twice (first as Spitfire) and then when Sara Cate released the full novel as Burn for Me. Both times I have LOVED EVERY FORBIDDEN PART OF IT. The book is ANGSTY AND SO HOT, but the audiobook was scorching. Allie Martina and Gideon Frost really turned the fire up. Their narration of Everly and Callum was exceptional, The two of them made the characters of Everly and Callum so much more powerful - the angst, the tension, the temptation. Now if you have read this book you know it has some very spicy scenes that are not for everyone (or you may discover some unknown kinks). Reading those scenes is one thing, but listening to them - yeah that's a WHOLE DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE. My entire body was on fire. I'm not even going to deny it.

I want to give a shout out to Allie Martina. This is only the second book I have listened to narrated by her, but it most definitely will not be the last. I first listened to Allie when she narrated by favorite book ever "Gravity" also by Sara Cate and she was just fantastic. Both Gravity and Burn for Me are books with unconventional and forbidden love stories. To be able to narrate the female characters in these stories and give them the voice they deserve it is amazing. Allie is definitely someone to look out for.

Hurt into love

This is a story about hurt lots of hurt for Cullen and Everly. Their pasts are entwined and Cullen is looking to hurt Everly. The way he goes about enforcing his hurt is disturbing but Everly seems to like the pain. I enjoyed that this story was an older woman younger man it’s very rare that I read stories from this perspective.
