Welcome to Inferno, the city where monsters rule and only the strong survive. Each district is ruled by a different species: dragons, vampires, werewolves, mages, daemons, gargoyles, and fae.
This omnibus follows three vampire Blood Lords as they fight to claim their Brides and their HEAs in a city with enemies around every corner and a thirst for power that can never be satisfied.
Please note that this series contains violence, swearing, and spicy scenes.
Contains mature themes.

I loved these novellas, I have adhd and these were like immediate dopamine hits. Alessa is one of my fave authors, I like the way she writes her characters. They typically have a lot of depth, grow together and apart, and both have their own strength rather than one relying a lot on the other (ie damsel).
MMCs were all very possessive with their FMCs. Tropes like true mates, grumpy/sunshine, age gaps, forced proximity, rich hero/poor heroine, insta-love, revenge, light ish third act-breakups (I hate this trope but it was done well), No pregnancy’s no cheating no ow/om. There is mention of torture and sa, nothing too descript. Spice is a sold 4.5, fantastic as always with this author. Lots of tension and good feelings. Each character had their own unique personalities, all the characters had different goals and wants, and were supportive of each other.
I really liked the narrator especially the voices she did for the third couple, idk what it was but the personality of the wolf just went with that voice (slightly deeper tone than other fmcs imo) and it was perfect. MMC voices were done well, sometimes a naturally higher pitched voice can’t do deeper very well but Paige nailed it, even with the spicy scenes no cringe at all (which sometimes happens with women narrating male characters).
This is limited third person POV so it switches between MMC/FMC primary perspective.
3 Novellas - 3 different FMC/MMCs

I thought I’d never say this. But it’s just too much.

I enjoyed the Wrath of the fae and Ironwood book sets and was excited for another set from Alessa but I see this series is not for me.
Perhaps throw away story ideas?
