Love her fae stories

the characters work well together . the basic story line is a little short but its a good adventure.

Love the story...just can't w the narrator

Super fan of Alessa Thorn's books and her world building. I can usually finish one in a day but this is the first time I'm struggling to get through. The narrator is beyond difficult to listen to. Sample it first! Moving to hard copy for the next three. Still a fan.

loved the story...disliked to performance

the story was so excellent but I hate the way the narrator performed the story. it was a hard listen. I think I'll just read the actual book from here on out.

I enjoy the stories but my god with every series the narrator gets worse. I don't think I can listen to the last 2 books.

FINALLY a non-frustrating FMC

A modern human-fae romance that is actually relatable in so many uncommon ways and even more, the FMC isn’t impossibly difficult just for the sake of stringing along the plot.

the way the narrator does some of the voices, or drags out some sentences made this hard for me to keep going. the story and rest were great

This story doesn’t hold up to the the stories before it. The narrating was awful.

I love the story. I have already read the entire series and was so enjoying listening to the books. that is until this book.

The narrators in the past books were good. Not great, but good. I didn't understand why they chose a male narrator to read the Ironwood books, but he did a good job.
I am sure that Mr. Price is a good narrator, but this was NOT the books for him to read. He makes ALL of the characters sound like snobs and pretentious pricks.
It was so bad that I could not even finish the first chapter.
I hope this series will eventually be ready by someone else in the future.

the plot

I love that the three princes have uncles who are coming out of the woodwork! it just adds more to the family. Oberon is over bearing man and Chrissy wild heart is just a tuned to him. I cannot wait for the next one to come out on audible.
