In this phoenix-from-the-ashes story, Brian's journal entries are paired with his father's recollections, as Siegfried and Sue Othmer seek out medical and behavioral experts to help them understand and cope with their son. Throughout their heartbreaking odyssey, they finally discover something that works: neurofeedback. Through their work in neurofeedback, Brian's legacy lives on.
