Breaking Donatella

Breaking Donatella is a part of the Black Rose Collection. Christian is determined to make Ella his wife. By marrying Ella he will out a stop to the feud between the two families. He also will gain her inheritance. Ella is a wild spirit. She will not be easy to tame. This book is a bit dark and taboo. It may have triggers for some. Tara and Jay did a fantastic job narrating using the same Italian accent through the entire book. Can't wait for more from this collection.

Great audiobook

This was the first book I've read/listened to by Raisa Greenwood. It had a great storyline with good characters. I was really surprised with the direction the author took. I loved how strong Donatella/Ella was as a woman, not just physically, but mentally as well as emotionally. Cristian was frustrating and had to grow on me. By the end, he redeemed himself. I was surprised to find this was book four in a series. It was a great standalone.

Tara Langella and Jay Adler did a great job narrating. Their performances were well done.

Wow! I loved it!

Wow! This was my first Raisa Greywood's book, and definitely won't be my last! I just found a new favorite author! Donatella and Cristian's Dark Mafia Romance is original, intricate, enthralling, and captivating, filled with danger, action, and unpredictable twists and turns. Donatella is a wonderful character, smart, sassy, capable, and strong. Cristian is a handsome character, dark, enigmatic, alpha, dominant, and protective. I like their banter, and their strong and sizzling chemistry. They are opposites attract, and they are perfect together. Jay Alder and Tara Langella did a wonderful job with the narration. This is a great team author/narrator. The audio quality is great! I enjoyed it, and I highly recommend it. Looking forward to listen to more books written by this author and read by these narrators. #AudiobookObsession #PinkFlamingoProductions

One of the best I’ve listened to this year!

Written with a ton of dark humor, action, intrigue, mystery, and sass, Breaking Donatella is dark romance at it’s delicious, decadent best! What starts out as a forced marriage designed to prevent a war becomes something else entirely as these two find their way to forever. I loved everything about Donatella, and over the course of the book I grew to love Cristian. The character development of both characters was fabulous! The plot had some surprises that I’ll not go into for fear of playing spoiler, but I just loved how Donatella’s and Cristian’s characters grew, changed and adapted! I also loved the brilliant dark humor the author infused into the dialogue and the plot! I laughed out loud more times than I could count, and as thrilled as I was by the way the story ended, I was truly saddened that it was over! The narration the infused these characters with life was truly amazing and really made this a beautiful experience! I really loved this one and will be looking for more books by Raisa Greywood, and more narrations by Tara Langella and Jay Alder. Five rock solid stars!!!

Love it!

This was an entertaining listen. I enjoyed listening to this story being told, I think the narrators did a great job on this story. I love how Christian finds Donatella determined to marry her to merge the two families and also to teach her to submit to her. But Donatella gives Christian a run for his money with how strong, independent and a bit of a bada$$ she turns out to be. I love the chemistry between these two and the twists in this story.
