Premise is silly
I always liked the writing of Elizabeth Boyle. This book, however, is not one of her best.
On the other hand, I had no problem with the narration. It was perfectly fine.

The Brazen Angel story was good ….computer narration was very disappointing.
I did not like the virtual voice. There was no emotion in the narration. There was many opportunities to express anger, romance, fear, and just ordinary conversation. however, the narration was monotone and sounded boring. I wanted to stop listening because it kept putting me to sleep, but I was interested in the story. computer generated narration was disappointing.

extremely engaging
This is a great book! I'm not a huge fan of the virtual narrative but Elizabeth Boyle is such a a great author, I couldn't pass this up, and I'm glad that I didn't,

How to ruin a good story
Virtual voice is the best way to ruin a good story. Although it tries the voice is stilted and without passion, not quite monotone but not much better. As dialogue and character thoughts mingle it is difficult to identify the character. The storyline itself is excellent it is unfortunate the reading was relegated to a virtual, impassioned voice.
