Enjoyable and Slightly Mindblowing

This book covered a lot of topics and ideas that I'll find very useful in guiding my marketing and design career. Coming at it from a graphic design perspective...opened me up to many ideas. Listened to it almost straight through.

Straight up, in your mouth, solid brand advice.

I found the advice and explanations by the author of this book to be on-point and powerful examples in creating a deeper attachment between a product or service and it’s customers. I’m 20 years in the Ad & Brand Market business (built Williamsburg | Brooklyn starting back in 2000) and still walked away with a handful of great tools from this book. Great book to get your marketing juices flowing

Great book! Buy the physical copy to maximize

I listened some and returned them, but this was on point! I plan to get the physical book so that I can go through and find the techniques instead of listening to them. strongly recommend.

Difficult to licen to

I found it really difficult book to listen to this book, the author sems really insecure, and arogant, perhaps more integrated in establish himself as an author wordy to write about this, than a guide or a helper.

I might not be the objective target for this book, but it's a topic I'm well verse and really interested, and I really wanted to like this format.

At the end of the day, I feel like at least the title is on point. I'm sorry I didn't take it as an advices the first time.

Very good read

It was quite interesting to listen. I only wonder if he could have used examples from more companies, it seems like the same companies are mentioned over and over again. But it's good information for Advertising professionals.

one of my favorite books on branding I've read so

there isn't a whole lot of selection when it comes to books on branding specifically. this seems to be a lot on marketing and business in general, obviously. but this book really highlights the things I was looking to hear about.

This book changed my mind

I was mistaken on branding. I knew the school of thought presented in this book, but disagreed with it as I saw product to be the driving force and basically what the brand is. However, about 2 hours in I let go of my sceptical attitude and listened carefully. this book has changed my mind and made everything much clearer. We'll produced too with good audio.

Educational.

Great for learning as a someone who practices digital marketing but has never fully taken the time to understand the tactical approach behind what they are doing. It also suggests many other books to continue the journey. At times it will feel like a bit of an information overload when it lists the many things you need to know. But i could never complain about all the information that is packed into Brands and Bullshit. HIGHLY RECCOMEND!
