Great book, very helpful

Drs. Cloud and Townsend are very good at pointing out many specific areas where boundaries are needed, and the consequences that may occur if they are not put in place.

Very clear on his way to explain every scenario.

This is a must read for everyone that's thinking to date or is dating. He explains everything so well and always base his point on the word of God.

The narrator was easy to understand and held a good tone throughout. sometimes sounded boring but has great information and examples

Full of incite and thoughtful ideas. Don’t agree with everything but this is an excellent book packed with helpful lessons

Great for Christians and non-Christians

Extremely helpful. I don't have a lot of experience in dating, and the experiences I have had have not been good. I have strong Christian values, and this book helped me better understand how I need to do my part in a relationship to protect my values.

Best Resource For Relationships

I loved this book! Very helpful for recognizing my own flaws while at the same time learning ways to correct them to become a better me.
The couple examples were very good for the confusion in dating, that I have seen but wasn't able to see clearly for myself or friends. I've been able to articulate to friends the deceit that we unknowingly demonstrated & are now able to correct for good relationships with the opposite sex but also friendships too. :)

I wish I had this before

After listening to this book, my eyes started opening and I realized how I have been messing up all my relationships not only with gfs but also with friends. I have to listen again and take notes this time.

i wish i would've read this years ago.

i wish I would've read this years ago! I'm 56yo and have been single for over 18 years. i made the mistake of believing dating was bad. and when i did, sometimes i wasn't clear about boundaries. the only thing I'd like to add to this book is use discernment. one thing I disagreed with is dating several people at one time. it may be ok when you're younger to see what you do like but if you already know what you like, i don't see the point. besides, who has time for that? overall, i was very impressed with the book and know the areas i need to work on. now I'm going to listen to "Safe People".

Easy reads with great anecdotes

The book is so powerful and simple and it’s brings to the forefront issues that we may overlook that are important in the dating process it highlighted individual issues that can cause issues in relationships. A must listen !

a good lesson, but somewhat redundant
