Setting Adult Boundaries

The narrators spoke well. I had no trouble making out what they were saying. The first 2 chapters were more about setting boundaries with children. The last two were more about setting boundaries as adults. These are more to what I, as an adult, need to work on. I will reread the last two chapters so I can work on setting my personal boundaries with the Lord's help.

story association and biblical references

Like most authors, this book told me 'I am the problem' and it told me 'how the problem developed' or things that enable bad behaviors. However, there was no homework and no direct references for HOW to correct the problem. This is a common narrativ, so I am not surprised. Otherwise, it was well written and entertaining.

Something here for everyone. Only wish I had read earlier in life. Essential for any hope of a healthy relationship.

worth the time

Very benificial listen. Rich with insight. This audio book gave me insight into what was happening with my boss and also what was happening with one of my children.

Wonderful Subject Matter

Very meaningful...I have learned a great deal about myself and my relationships. I hope to see the fruits of it in my life.

This book is perfect for those of us who love to give of ourselves but need help learning boundaries. If you feel guilty or have children who are unruly at times be encouraged by this book!

Great life advice I can use in all aspects. It helped me to understand how and why people are the way they are.

Just what I needed!

This book was recommended during a period of overwhelming transition in my life. It helped me realize how most of the issues were by Choice and how to separate feelings to make better ones.

Freedom!

I have learned from hearing this book that I am responsible for drawing the boundaries and that no one can MAKE me feel guilty for not doing whatever they want. No one truly has that kind of power over me. I am actually the one who has kept myself in bondage. I love that the truths in this book are backed up the God’s truths. My life is better because of the tools I now have.
