Publisher's Summary

Bar and grille owner Cody Parker is the no-nonsense leader of a weekly gathering of the leather community - a powerful, respected man guaranteed to make all the bottom boys beg. He sees red at even the mere mention of Kennedy Marks.

Having escaped a terrifying childhood, Kennedy Marks is now a beloved Blueridge Junction police officer. Until recently, Kennedy has never questioned his role in intimate relationships. He knows Cody hates him, and the feeling is very much mutual.

Neither man can explain why they despise each other. But when an unexpected kernel of desire takes root in Kennedy’s mind, that ever-present animosity begins to waver. Can the two allow themselves to explore the reasons behind their hatred and cross that thin line between love and hate?

Bound to Fight is a male/male romance meant for ages 18 and up due to adult themes, language, and situations.

Love wins again...

OMG...this series was really good. Loved the BJ boys and I was so anticipating Cody and Kennedy HEA. It was a struggle for them to get there with a little push from Fabolous Jay but the fellas got there. Their coming together was HOT and kinky. We had a little drama but not too much...I know after hearing Kennedy's background story, I had so many feels for him...I'm so glad Cody was there for him. So glad the guys worked through their issues and finally gave love a try. And what can I say about the narrator...he did an excellent job and brought all the laughter, fun, and sexiness to the story. Hated to see it end but it was well worth the chance

I received a free audible and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

Frenemies to lovers

This whole series was pretty sweet and this conclusion was the sweetest of all I think. It's a pretty low angst and fairly quick listen. Solon does a great job with the narration. There were a few things that I felt were left a little loose ended but over all I was happy with how it all worked out and enjoyed the series.

Great Enemies to Lovers story.

Author and narrator did an excellent job with this story,
I really enjoyed the way the book flowed. Cody and Kennedy's story was worth the wait.

I recommend this series....

Fairly good

Disclaimer:
I received a free audio code for review.
I have not read the other books in this series.

The narrator was really good, the only thing I had a problem with was I sometimes couldn't tell one MC from the other bc his voice is deeper than I'm used to but this isn't his fault I have a issue with tones and my hearing. I did really love his voice though and just had to pay more attention to what was being said to figure out who was who.

The story was fairly good. As I stated I didn't read the other two books in this series, so I don't have any more background information to compare their feud to. The seemingly frenemies to lovers was a okay transition. I really loved Kennedy's backstory though I love dark family pasts and self esteem issues that are helped with the other MC. Cody was good as a MC and I liked him a lot. The love story kinda moved too fast for me but it was good. The first steamy scene was just okay, the others where way better though. The kink was decent.

What I didn't like;
Jay. I literally hated him through this whole book. I didn't read the other books so I didn't have a connection with him but I'm sure I would have DNF his book anyways bc he hits on a lot of my reading hard limits list as a character in general. It took me an extra day to get through this book bc I had to take breaks when he would pop up in the story. I'm sure other people love him. I did not take my issues with this character out on the author or my review though. It's not their fault I have issues with bratty demanding (kidnapping) characters. I just didn't click with the story and didn't like the flow of it. I just think I wanted a bit more chemistry or heat between the MCs and I don't think it was the for me. Just wasn't my jam. 4 stars overall though.

Great Series!💜

I really enjoyed this series!! Jay is definitely my favorite character in this series but they were all wonderful.
This storyline was a little hotter than the first 2 books with a little extra kink. There was plenty of romance, drama & humor as well.
Each book in this series addresses some important real life issues as well as family drama.
This narrator was new to me when I started this series and I’ve enjoyed him very much. Well done!
This is book 3 in this series with an HEA! I recommend this book/series.

'A Fine Line Between Love and Hate'

Having caught glimpses of the testy frenemy relationship between bar owner and "BJ Boy" Cody and sheriff Kennedy in the two previous BJ Boys series books, I was curious to see how their story would unfold. There were some surprises in this slow burn - let's just say appearances can indeed be deceiving - and I enjoyed getting into their heads as they reconciled their true feelings and desires with their public personas. It's dynamite when they finally find their HEA.

Narrator Christopher Solon did a great job narrating this book and the entire BJ Boys series. He created distinct voices for all of the main characters, and there was never a question as to which character was talking.

This book could be considered a standalone, but reading/listening in order has added benefit. The BJ Boys' friendship is a thread linking the series together, and each book offers glimpses into the evolving relationships between each of the three very different couples.

I received this audiobook for free by request and provided this honest review voluntarily.

Good story!

Story: An interesting take on close proximity and domination / submission. I liked how open the characters were to kink and how their initial combativeness was portrayed. A pleasant story for sure and a good addition to the series!

Narration: The voice and characters differentiation were really good. There is however a quality issue for me with the noises in the background. You can easily say where the recording was cut, as that is the only moment without the white noise that was getting annoying in some places.

good enemies-to-lovers

The narrator was good (at 1.5x) but the audio was poor. I kept hearing static behind the talking.

I enjoyed it but would not re-listen. I haven't read the others in the series so it can be a standalone. May go back and start at the beginning.

Best one yet

I loved this one it was such a fantastic story. I didn’t actually sleep last night as this one kept me up listening all night it was that good.

Such a good narrator who did really well balancing all the different characters and staying true to the voices that he gave them in the last few books.

Excellent series I loved it

Cody and Kennedy...

Enemies ro lovers... i just want to say that Jay did it again! Cody and Kennedy have been hating each other for a long time. What would that become under forced proximity? Well you gotta listen to these two spewing hatred until they are not. They both have big hearts and a kinky side and seem to be doms in the bedroom but you never know. Finally these characters get their story told. The narrator gives life to it in a very sexy way.

as good as the ebook

The story is always full stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook. I can't listen to an audiobook without knowing the book, that's not possible for me.

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, I’m over the half, but I listen enough to give a review.

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:

5* - very very good
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A

3* - it's more then a one-time-listening.
it's like a B
