Love this series!

I really enjoyed the three books in this series. The heroes and heroines were all fabulous characters and the storylines were very interesting.

Not disappointed at all

A wonderful continuation of the border series! The story is well written and the narrator does a fantastic job!

Great Set of stories!

Each individual story is full of great characters and plots that are separate but the characters intertwine beautifully. As usual, Tim Campbell does a spotless performance.

Outstanding

First time author for me, this boxset was a blessing for me to experience first hand from her!!!! No words can express the magnitude of excellence it is!!! I absolutely loved these books!!!!

Cecelia continues to make The Border Series exciting and interesting with the addition of books 4-6!!!
Love her heroines!! They are all very independent and passionate!

What a GREAT! set

I am happy that Cecelia gave us these 3 books in a box set. As always she did a great job and makes it hard to hit the pause button. Each of these books are better then the last and always in a series you visit with old friends from previous books.

Loved this series

I love this series, (books 4 -9). I've listened to them a second time, both because I enjoy the stories and of course the excellent narration by Tim Campbell. What a wonderful voice he has for this type of story. The only issue I have is the author continually has the lead characters second guessing themselves instead of acting on how they truly feel or finding the 3 minutes it takes to talk to someone and express those feelings, for god sakes she spends chapters having the characters second guess each other. After a while that does get a little old. But that is my only complaint, otherwise she does an excellent job of weaving a story. I enjoyed this series and I will probably listen to it a third time at some point in the future. The first 3 books were narrated by a female and I didn't get very far in the 1st book because I couldn't stand the narrator and therefore I didn't finish book 1, nor did I listen to books 2 and 3 - they have the same narrator. In my opinion Tim Campbell should have done the entire series.

books 4-6 great series

Book 4 finds Clara/Alfred running for her life and from Alex, her love. to keep him safe! Alex's tenacity leads him on a merry pursuit of his lady love and ends with a hea. Clara has a wonderful surprise in store from a friend in her past!!
Book 5 Garrick's procrastination almost cost him a future and hea. smh! That really irked me, but the gods look out for the stupid , and the twist that his betrothed provided was a godsend and helped set him free to love Emma.
Book 6. Where luck is concerned Graeme has a black cloud over his love life!!! Lol. Gillian doesn't make it easy for him at all!!! smh! Graeme bent over backwards to accommodate Gill and her mercenary hard headed dad. Gill was manipulative and hard headed too and not endearing at all imo. Graeme used a soft touch with her where I think he should have been more strict to get her in line. Not a fan of Gill.
I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job.

great series to listen too while working around

the house. I listened to this series after reading the books separately while doing spring cleaning. Wonderful way to keep on track. The stories are great in that they work off of each other and the characters pop in and out from one book to the next. I enjoyed having the stories in the background while doing spring cleaning, lets face it, scrubbing floor, walls and windows are not the most interesting things to do.... This series made getting up to continue the chore something to look forward to.
Wonderful stories, i just wasn't a big fan of the narrator.

very good

A lot of historical romance feels like it has the same storyline. Each of these stories was different and good in it's own way. They didn't blend together. And the characters crossed over from story to story.
The narrator was superb! I think I would enjoy him reading the phone book. Great voice. Great job at showing the characters and their emotions!
I would highly recommend.
