Absolutely love this series!!

Garrick and Emma's ups and downs to finally come together will keep you saying oh my goodness over and over again. But in the end they do get their happily ever after.

Garrict Hemlsley comes home from the crusaders and is now the Earl of Clave,his uncle is making trouble for him and he agrees to marry a women in Scotland as not to lose his mother's land.Lady Emma Waryn wants to See her friend in Scotland but her brothers are very protective of her,Garrick agree to be her escort,Garrick needs to go to Scotland as not to lose his mother's land and get favor with powerful Scots.The story is well written and enjoyed hearing from characters from previous books.On the way they fall in love but both need to be hit on the head to realize this.The love scenes are fantastic and chemistry between them is great to listen to ,there is so much about this book I enjoyed I gave a rate of 5. Would recommend this audio book,I received this book for honest review and this is my review Enjoyed the narrator so much to listen to has very sexy voice,

History in a likeable, smexy way.

This story is filled with intrigue, drama and smexy romance. The characters are unique, likeable and time period appropriate. The narrator does a terrific job with loads of inflection and unique dialect that help make the characters believable and time period appropriate.

As a series, it's ideal if the books are read in order although this is so well done that it can completely stand alone.

Great story!

My first book in this series. I loved the characters and all the character interaction. There was no clear cut path for Garrick and Emma but the journey the had was fill of ups and downs. I had to stay up and finish this one. The narrator did an excellent job distinguishing between the characters, switching accents and from male to female characters. I definitely recommend giving this one a listen.

Another great addition to the Border Series

This is another great addition to her Border Series that was a pleasure to read and I was thrilled to now listen to it. Take one man who does not want a wife, but needs to marry to secure his land. Then take a young woman who wants to marry for love. Together you get a love story full of complications and drama. The book was hard to put down and it was a dream to listen to. Tim Campbell has a voice just made for reading this series. I loved reading it and I loved listening too.

Another great audio book!

I have always enjoyed Tim Campbell's Narrations and his Narration of The Earl's Entanglement did not disappoint. Tim Campbell puts so much emotion into his reading, that it is almost as if hearing the actual characters in the book. He really knows how to put the right emotions to the words in Cecelia Mecca's books. I can't wait to read and listen to more in this series.

Revisiting the Border Series!

Ceceila Mecca has a great new series, Brotherhood of the Border, which features the children of the couples from the Border Series. Listening to the Border Series' audiobooks is a great way to revisit that series before starting Brotherhood of the Border. Tim Campbell does an exceptional job with his narration--none of the over the top or contrived accents that plague novels with Scottish characters. Emma and Garrick are both so likeable that you'll root for them from the start. Hopefully, we'll see some of their children in Brotherhood of the Border. It'd be great to see how the couple is doing.

The Earl's Entanglement

Pledged to another just to save his mother and her Scotish lands and titles, The English Earl resigned himself to his plight until he decided to take his friend's beautiful sister to her friend's estate for a couple weeks. Along the way, he could not to resist the urge to kiss her. That inself was a big mistake. He could not stop thinking about her and the kiss they shared. There was an attempt on his life by his uncle, who wanted his lands and titles in Scotland. Now he is rethinking the betrothal tp the Scotish Earl's daughter, because he cannot stop thinking about his friend's sister. He knew then that his was in love with her and no other woman would be good enough. What will the cost be to break the betrothal? Will there be a border war over the refusal of marriage?

back and forth

My heart went out to Graeme for his failed relationship! I already read the next book, so I know he gets his hea, so I can't be too upset now. Garrick has a hard won love finally!!! yay!! All the back and forth and angst was giving me whiplash! What a shocker about Garrick's ex???
I did like the lengths these two main characters went to to be together. I'm really enjoying this series. The narrator voice, expressions, and accents were excellent. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this story and am giving an honest review.

Talk about love conquering all!

Not everyone finds their soulmate, but when Gerrick finds his, nothing will stop him from making her his. Emma feels the same, yet I’ve never seen so many obstacles for one couple! Lots of angst, humor, and...you know. These two deserve to be together! The narrator, Tim Campbell was awesome!
