This Story Is Sexy

Publisher's Summary

The night I’m released from prison, she’s in my bed. It’s been eight years since I touched a woman, and the Native American beauty is half-dressed, beaten, bruised, and devastatingly exquisite.

We’re toxic together, but we want the same things. Blood. Vengeance. Violent relief in a warm body.

Beneath her touch, I’m alive. Against her skin, I’m redeemed. Buried inside her, I forget the past. Until the past takes her from me.

Prison made me cold, but losing Raina makes me cruel. Ruthless. Unforgiving. I killed before. For her, I’ll kill again. I’ll end this once and for all or die in my boots.

AN EPIC SERIES FINALE!

Phenomenal, tour de force performances that brought this epic final book in the Trails of Sin series to bright, vibrant technicolor life!

I have adored everything that dark romance goddess Pam Godwin has written but BOOTED, an angsty, adrenaline-pumping masterpiece, is definitely among my top two faves!!

Aiden Snow's gruff, growly portrayal of Lorne Cassidy was pitch perfect and gave me goosebumps galore! Lorne was a complex character who would do anything—and EVERYTHING—to protect his loved ones. No sacrifice was too great. But he had suffered mightily along the way and his trauma and torment were heart shattering.

This complex character required a skilled narrator who could dig deep and Mr. Snow knocked it out of the park! Through his nuanced, deeply sensitive performance, I felt this dark tortured cowboy's every agony, every blistering desire, every high voltage feeling down to my morrow! NO WORDS CAN DESCRIBE how stirred I was by Mr. Snow's electrifying, deeply emotive narration and he held me in his thrall from start to finish!

And Emma Wilder, a new narrator for me, was amazeballs as well! I loved her husky, sultry voice and she embodied Raina's beauty and bravery, fire and passion and vulnerability with such precision that she made me fall in love with this remarkably resilient heroine all over again, even after reading the book! Together this dynamite couple owned my heart and soul, and their romance, while incredibly tumultuous, TOOK MY BREATH AWAY!

The narrators also did a stellar job of depicting the secondary characters that were pivotal to the storyline.

BOTTOM LINE:
I was a captive audience of this riveting, suspenseful, scorching hot audio from start to finish and cannot recommend it highly enough!

A MUST LISTEN!

Booted

Omg, listening to this book was amazing. I live how 4 became 5 then 6 and so well balance in everywhere. Thank good all the loose ends were tied up before the good times got better. I just love the twist and unexpected surprise Pam hits you throughout the book. Those were brilliant and left me speechless. Not to the mention the narrators were phenomenal.

Wow just wow!

Perfect ending to the trilogy! Narrators were great this time around, totally making up for the lacking in book 2. I’m thinking, I wish this could be made into a movie...so great! The only thing that threw me off was the references in the last chapters to the Native American culture but that’s probably because I actually live in that area and a few things weren’t right but other than that I loved this series.

An emotional rollercoaster you want to ride.

Booted is the conclusion of the series. It closes all open questions and must be read in order. But this series is so intense, it will draw you in from chapter one and not let go until the end. Loren and Renee are so tormented with their own pasts it is a wonder how they heal each other. The honesty between them is the only thing that builds the relationship. Their raw feelings and dark pasts are so real, I found myself submerged into their world. I held my breathe at the horrifying twists, I cried when I thought all was lost, and I hoped for a happy ending. But to get to the end, I had to walk along side Loren and Renee through all the pain. This story is more than just feelings, it is heartbreaking, gut wrenching, pure fear invoking words. Words that I could not stop reading. I loved this book so hard.

Emma Wilder and Aiden Snow narrated Booted. Aiden Snow has such a gruff, raspy voice that it perfectly portrayed Loren as I imagined him. Mr Snow brought out all the pain and hardess of Loren and was still able to bring out that soft, protective alpha that I grew to love. Emma Wilder narrated Renee with passion. Renee is such a tortured soul and Ms Snow was able to portray that pain with her narration. This narrated team did more than bring the story to life, they made it become reality while I dove into the world of Loren and Renee.

just as good as boooks 1 and 2

what a great way too finish a trilogy...the heroine was a bit different than the other 2...no Jo's and 1st times, but the hero isn't like the other heroess either so it works beautifully.
great book even though Pam frustrates me with her in depth alternatives but it's good to wait. steamy and dark and loyal alphas ..to me that describes this trilogy.
Emma wilder..wow what a great male voice....don't know how she does it?
and Aiden....Mmmmmm

A 5 Star Blushing Audio Review

tHE STORY:
This is book 3 and the final in this simply addictive series. The chemistry is instant between Lorne and Raina with makes for some hot and fiery moments.
Raina is not your typical good girl virgin heroine, she has major baggage, but she is tough, determined and quirky and I really enjoyed reading the Native American part in this story.
Lorne’s character is broody and fiercely protective, there is an extremely sexy side to his darkness and dominance but underneath that tough exterior he is gentle, caring and loyal.
I love the strong sense of brotherhood /family in this series. Each book in the series gives us another perspective of the tragic event that occurred in Book #1 with Conner as we see how the ripple effect it had on all their futures.
There is something almost lyrical about Pam Godwin’s writing, the words flow seamlessly into the one another creating a beautiful and memorable story.
THE AUDIO:
I love Duet narrations, when done well and matched good with their characters it adds so much more depth to a story, breathing life into its characters adding real personality and charisma.

This is a long one but well worth it, Aiden was the perfect Lorne with his deep southern sexy growl and Emma Wilder's performance is always exceptional.
