Publisher's summary

The night I’m released from prison, she’s in my bed. It’s been eight years since I touched a woman, and the Native American beauty is half-dressed, beaten, bruised, and devastatingly exquisite.

We’re toxic together, but we want the same things. Blood. Vengeance. Violent relief in a warm body.

Beneath her touch, I’m alive. Against her skin, I’m redeemed. Buried inside her, I forget the past. Until the past takes her from me.

Prison made me cold, but losing Raina makes me cruel. Ruthless. Unforgiving. I killed before. For her, I’ll kill again. I’ll end this once and for all or die in my boots.

Amazing trilogy!

Loved the story, the performance was great. Loads of action, I laughed especially in book 2. I always enjoy the character development in Pam’s books. I obsessed and can’t put it down until the end.

Obsessed!

Wow - finished this whole series in 3 days. Wasn’t crazy about Buckled due to narration, but still enjoy the characters. I thoroughly enjoyed this last book. Lorne and Raina wrapped this up perfectly ❤️

A fantastic end to this trilogy!

This series... simply amazing, but what else can you expect from the awesome Pam Godwin.

Book 3 is probably my favorite of the 3, but they are all damn good, (book 2 was my least favorite).

PG knows how to write dark, suspenseful, thriller-style romance, and this book highlighted that to perfection. Lorne and Raina have that perfect enemies-to-lovers thing going on, but it works perfectly in this one. We met Raina in book 2 when she was with John, Jake & Jarrett's father. There was a hint of some unhappiness in her eyes, but in the end, we figured out why. This one picks up as Lorne is getting out of prison, (you need to read these in order, why he's there is explained in that one). Raina is already at the ranch, healing from being rescued.

She has a goal, but no experience in what needs to be done, and he is a felon who can help, but carefully.

The book is a great ride from beginning to end!

Stupidly unrealistic

Beautiful, extensive vocabulary and descriptions attempt to steer your mind away from the ridiculous book. The plot line is weak as are the supporting characters - and clearly, no one working on this book has ever met nor loved a true Texas/Oklahoma cowboy. I didn’t find this book set under “fairytales,” but that’s where it should be.

My favorite in the series

I really enjoyed the 1st one, but this story topped the trilogy. I loved Lorne and Raina's story and their healing each other.Very relatable and no insta love or lust. John was a sonofab*tch and remained one till the end lol. worth a read

Intense!!

This is an intense book! All three in the series actually are. I love how the men are so alpha, but at the same time love so hard.

just as good as boooks 1 and 2

what a great way too finish a trilogy...the heroine was a bit different than the other 2...no Jo's and 1st times, but the hero isn't like the other heroess either so it works beautifully.
great book even though Pam frustrates me with her in depth alternatives but it's good to wait. steamy and dark and loyal alphas ..to me that describes this trilogy.
Emma wilder..wow what a great male voice....don't know how she does it?
and Aiden....Mmmmmm

A 5 Star Blushing Audio Review

tHE STORY:
This is book 3 and the final in this simply addictive series. The chemistry is instant between Lorne and Raina with makes for some hot and fiery moments.
Raina is not your typical good girl virgin heroine, she has major baggage, but she is tough, determined and quirky and I really enjoyed reading the Native American part in this story.
Lorne’s character is broody and fiercely protective, there is an extremely sexy side to his darkness and dominance but underneath that tough exterior he is gentle, caring and loyal.
I love the strong sense of brotherhood /family in this series. Each book in the series gives us another perspective of the tragic event that occurred in Book #1 with Conner as we see how the ripple effect it had on all their futures.
There is something almost lyrical about Pam Godwin’s writing, the words flow seamlessly into the one another creating a beautiful and memorable story.
THE AUDIO:
I love Duet narrations, when done well and matched good with their characters it adds so much more depth to a story, breathing life into its characters adding real personality and charisma.

This is a long one but well worth it, Aiden was the perfect Lorne with his deep southern sexy growl and Emma Wilder's performance is always exceptional.
