Loved this!
I ordered the physical book too but I have been following Katie for years and really wanted to hear her read this. Worth hearing it straight from her. Katie’s message really resonates with me and it’s so important to change how I think and talk about my body especially so I don’t pass on these issues to my kiddo. Katie is funny but also has really tactical advice. She’s been through it and her detail accounts of how she has struggled with body perception let you now you aren’t alone.

A Powerful Read That Will Make You Laugh Out Loud
I bought both the audio book and hardcover of this title. The audio because I find Katie delightful and inspiring and the hardcover so I could easily refer back to it (not to mention the beautiful design!) Regardless of how you digest the content, this book is a must read for everyone - at every age. My generation was taught that your appearance was your self worth so it is significant progress to see a book address how to unlearn this toxic thinking and rebuild your relationship with your body. Katie is a visionary and not afraid to say what we all should have been saying for years. In short, I loved this book and by the end I felt like Katie was my friend and champion :)

And everyone should read it / listen to it. I wish this book had existed when I was a preteen - but the best time to plant a tree is 10 years ago, the second best time is today. Be kinder to yourself, be kinder to your loved ones - and wear the tshirt!

Just when I thought I couldn’t love Katie anymore she has written a book for me (and everyone) about a major struggle in my (and most people’s) life! I will be buying this book for all of my friends and family. I bought the hardcover and the audible just to hear Katie tell me that I am worthy!

Super fun and filled with good advice
I really enjoyed this and not just because Katie is one of my favorite people ever on Instagram. This was witty and lighthearted while still compassionate and warm. It was a super fun and short and I loved the audiobook version where she narrates. I thought she hit some great bullet points and this only made me like her more.

How about use old folks?
Altho I found you book quite helpful and inspiring, I’d just love to know how you’d approach an afterwords of dealing with handling our self-perceptions when we age and change into fat, ugly, old women that no one ever notices (anymore) and that we can’t accept as self. Your book, Katie was helpful, but as our bodies change with age having hair where it never was, no hair where it was supposed to be, and having abundant fat that was never ever supposed to appear. We are a forgotten group in society that is thought to sit in a rocking chair and die…
