Ahhh - did not disappoint

Book 1 had me looking forward to Book 2, and did not disappoint. A faster pace made it exciting and wanting to know 'what's next?'. Appreciated the MC back story and development while being paced by the mission and the desired outcomes by all. Had me rooting for everyone. Did not hesitate to download Book 3. Gotta see how this series wraps up.

Stays in rotation

I have listened to this at least 10 times and I will listen 10 more times I fall back to this book with. I don’t want to read anything do or take a chance on spending a credit that might not be worth it. This will always be a go to everything she writes is awesome.

Series gets even better!

I thought the first story was good, but book 2 is even better!!! Focusing on the joint task force between the Beastmasters, Backhander’s team (DEA), and special agent Fox (FBI), this story is full of action, explosions and assassins! Love is brewing between Fox and Shot; sparks fly between Hawk and Backhander; and an interesting old adversary pops back up to possibly romance Call. Tons of action and suspense, written in Via’s fabulous style. No fluff here- this story is deep, intense, fast paced and intimate. I love Tim Paige’s narration on this book. It’s not just read, it’s performed! You can feel the strength of the love, the longing, the anxiety and heartbreak. He puts you right there in the action, pounding heartbeat and all!

Love love in all its' many facets!

Emphatically the best story so far! I could not stop listening and was pulling for the entire team to survive and have their happily ever after! Thanks to Via and Paige for a job well done! HOORAH!!!

Exciting and suspenseful. great trout of men. Tim Paige did an outstanding job with the telling of this story. well worth the credit and your time to listen...

Another great performance of a great story. And thank you for more Hawk. He's definitely my favorite.

I have so been waiting on this series to go to audible.
I love the story of Hawk and Pierce, Call and Omega, Fox and Shot the stories of the struggles each couple must over come and the love that keeps them strong. I really like how it touches on being bullied, PTSD and the enter beauty in us all.
The Narration was good but sometimes I couldn't tell which POV was talking but you could feel what each POV was feeling.
Over all I loved it and I can't wait for the next book in the series. I have read all the books so no spoilers from me. In my opinion the last one is the best one! Woo hoo

Five stars! Love this series!

This was a thoroughly enjoyable book that was well read by Tim Paige. His voice is pleasant, excellent voices for characters, great pacing and engaging the listener to add so much more to the story. Well done!!!

Really enjoyed it

I really enjoyed this story. It pulled me in from beginning to end and I loved getting to know Pierce and the Beastmasters better. This story is more fast paced in some ways as they are on a mission trying to take down the Russian Mafia and drugs in the states with Pierce leading the team as the DEA and strategist and the Beastmasters as the special team to do the takedowns. Pierce is looking for these to be the last takedowns so that he can retire and find peace. Hawke knows that Pierce is the one for him but he has been hitting lots of walls and getting nowhere quickly. I loved watching these two finally start to figure things out and then getting further and further down that path as things heat up with the action. Fox and Shot are our second couple that are trying to figure things out. They both deeply care about each other but Shot has walls up on it being anything "serious" and very relationship like and things start coming to a head there as well and they have to figure out how to move past it and move forward and if it can be together or apart. I really enjoyed this one and the new characters that were introduced. It will be interesting to see them in the next book.
The narrator did a good job with the voices of characters personalities and accents to help bring the story alive.

Excellently written and narrated book that deals with multiple romantic relationships as well as platonic and familial relationships. Action and steamy good times.
