Incredible as always!

the storyline and the plot was very good. I'm hoping the next book isn't so long in the making. The characters are so well colored, the details of the story too! The visuals of where they're at is superb. great job again Brad magnarella.

Awesome addition to the series...with Samurais!

The realistic military scenarios and tactics is engaging. Throw in samurais, zombies and ancient snake people civilization and I’m hooked!!

The book gives more background into Tanaka’s past and how she became the red dragon. Besides Captain Wolfe my favorite character is probably Rusty, I enjoy his playful nature and antics while getting sh** done.

This story puts the team into a no-win scenario that even the brass feels they’re outmatched and shouldn’t take the mission. But with a whole town of 5,000 disappeared, the team feels compelled to go into action.

I would have liked the Samurai to play a larger role, their mystery was deep and we only scratched the surface. Would enjoy seeing them help out in a future mission. :)

Cronin, the narrator did a great job for men, women, monsters, Asian accents and a god. He’s a real asset to this series.

Can't wait for the next book!!!!

the book was as always just as good as the previous books n the series. I will there will be another book in the series soon

The Liar, the Wolf, and the Wardings

First, let me say that James Patrick Cronin is undeniably a master narrator! I even hear him when I read the text version. His voice acting makes it easy to follow the story. I could not conceive of any better voice for each character. I am taking a moment here to say this because of my tendency to gloss over his amazing work in my past Blue Wolf and Prof Croft reviews.

Now, in Blue Venom, Brad Magnarella has drawn me deeper into the world of the Blue Wolf. I find myself parked in my garage unable to simply turn off the audiobook and go in the house when I arrive home. I am too invested in the outcome of the situation to just turn off the book and leave Jason and the team hanging there waiting for some kind of resolution.

My wife has taken to calling me "The Garage Dweller" and jokingly ( I hope!) added a line in her budget for getting an exterminator for the garage. Fortunately, I have now finished Blue Venom. So, maybe we won't need that exterminator now?

Jason and team are drawn into a Kobiashi Maru scenario in order to save 5000 people. Complicating matters, the royal family of the Asian country seems to be helping with one hand and interfering with two. Further, Jason's superiors are sending very mixed messages.

Will Jason make it back to his new bride? Will the ever present back stories of the team members interfere with the mission too much? Will 5000 innocents survive to thank the Blue Wolf and his team?

I Totally Fell

Yep, another fun and exciting adventure with Legion! I love the supporting characters! And Jason has my heart. I don’t even care that he’s from the armpit of America (my hometown of Beaumont, Texas). Jason Wolfe is an awesome dude!

4th installment in a great series

Can be read standalone but you will get much more out of it if you read the other three first. Captain wolf and his squad have had 5 successful missions since the last book and they are really jelling well. Up comes another mission. A secret contact advises him to nix the mission as it is too much for the squad to handle. There are at least 5000 innocent lives at stake and he just can’t pass on this mission. Secrets about his team members past will be brought to light and the team will face challenges that will push them to the edge of their abilities and beyond. Will they have what it takes to get it done? Will they all survive the mission? A really great story. Fans of Hellboy and the BPRD will enjoy this series a lot. Don't mess with Mr. Wolf

Very entertaining book. I like the characters this author has created and how he applies them to this supernatural world. Fast paced story with great narration! Fantastic series.

Something balanced and adventurous!

I don't know what it is about these books to be honest... The Author, Brad Magnarella, has seemingly found a perfect balance that is very reminiscent of the feeling you get from watching Indiana Jones for the first time, or your first read through LOTR. Something about the pacing, the action, the writing.... it is all just very adventurous and gripping. You never know what is coming next! The plot is very unrealistic (obviously), and yet you never stop to consider it because you are just along for the ride. What i'm trying to say is that this series is just fun. You'll find yourself intrigued and wanting to hear what comes next. If you are like me, you wont be sitting there trying to declare what the next plot twist will be, you'll just be sitting back and enjoying it for what it is.

As an aside, i listen to about 200 books a year, and yet, i ALWAYS look forward the to the next release from Brad Magnarella. It is weird, it is fun, it is a ride. If you haven't given the series a try, i strongly encourage you to dive in. Blue Venom is no different. It continues to add to the lore, the x-files/indiana jones experience, while keeping the series strong. I wont bother to go in to details as to give away plot points, but suffice to say, this is the series that keeps on giving.

Another great listen

This was a great addition to the blue wolf series.the main plot was maybe the best yet, although I'm a big fan of the first one. More character development was also good, especially for takarah (sp?). Overall a great and compelling listen, with surprises along the way to definitely keep me interested. If you've enjoyed the other blue wolf books, I'd recommend this one for sure.

Urban Fantasy Jungle War

Continuing the Blue Wolf series we get another action packed series with fantastic fights and great characters. Expert narration makes it a great listen.
