Lots of action and suspense

What a great story! It is full and I mean full of action, suspense and a bit of drama. The storyline kept me captivated! That ending though? I kept looking at the time left vs what was planning to happen with the story and I was not sure which was going to end first! I was panicking for sure! I eagerly am looking for when the next is coming out! The characters are amazingly well done! I loved meeting each one and figuring out who was who in this world.

I did listen to this one audio. Kayden Lukakis and Michelles Price are the narrators. Both are new to me. They both did a good job. I did have to listen closely at the title of each chapter to see who POV it is since it was really hard to distinguish the difference in the male voices.

Great story

This was my first book by Cassandra. The blurb caught my attention but, the story and amazing narration kept my attention. I thoroughly enjoyed the characters and storytelling. Book #1 in the Vixens & Villians and I am already eagerly anticipation the other books.#The FlockonTour

Multiple characters POV

This is the first book I've read/listened to by Cassandra Featherstone. It had the feel of the TV show Alias, which I love. I would say this is a slow burn romance. The loyalty between the guys among their group/individual issues is heartwarming. We get some MF and MM in this book. I enjoyed getting multiple characters point of view! I cannot wait for the next audiobook.

Kayden Lukakis and Michelle Price are wonderful narrators. Kayden was new for me. I didn't care for a couple of his character voices, but as a whole, it was a good job! Michelle did wonderful as usual. I loved the visual I got from listening to the audiobook. It ran like a movie in my head.

Bloodthirsty

Remy is a assasin and her story is about the job she takes that brings her back in contact with her past. The world built for this story pulled me in and the way it was written made me feel like i was watching a movie. The guys in this RH romance were interesting and and a great combo for Remy. Loved the plot/concept!

I was surprised by this book not gonna lie. I really loved that it had this like Alias vibe but deadly assassin and crime world. The concept and execution I thought were done well and I am itching to get book 2 already haha. I loved how seamlessly the MC could switch her personas and get into character and how easily she made it look coming up with back stories and lived for them. I loved the ending, finally putting things out in the open and book 2 is going to be lit with all the tension this group is putting off.

In terms of the guys, I did have a tough time sometimes remembering who was who. With all the nicknames and criminal types, it was a lot to remember listening (I might have to check out the ebook to see if there is a legend or something. I loved the M/M part, hope we get more of that. The random D/S moments were soooooo good and hot, I am excited to see how she is with each guy. It seems she gets something different from each/they all have their own style/kink with her haha. And the suggestion for her to top duuuuude gimme! I liked the dynamics within the group, the flashbacks we got from their pasts, and I like the friend, she is also a BA so might be interesting to see if she stays normal or jumps ship.

Good narration! I thought the female narrator did a fabulous job, the male narrator had some instances where his accent didnt match or even the female narrator did a different accent to the male narrator, so just a couple issue spots. i thought they did a great job bringing these characters to life and putting their whole body and soul into it haha.

Definitely a high octane story with some incredible steam and a lot more questions to have answered in the next part of the series!

action and drama.

tins of action drama and not a dual moment. I like the sex scenes were at a minimum. that I was captivated the whole story. I got a bit confused had to relisten to some parts. the ending whyyy.... now I need the next book now.b

Contemporary Why Choose Romance

Bloodthirsty by Cassandra Featherstone is a contemporary why choose romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Kayden Lukakis and Michelle Price. This is the first book in the Villains and Vixens series.

I was hooked from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I loved that we got Remy, Coda, Raz, Dwyn, Jinx, and Mo's points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

The book ended on a great cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can't wait for the next book in the series Ruthless to be released on October 9, 2023.

Kayden and Michelle did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like dark romance, contemporary romance, why choose romance, or romantic suspense.

Remy went on to infamy as The Guillotine. It was only a matter of time in the circles they moved before they would cross paths on a job. Remy saved one of her childhood friends in a moment of nostalgic weakness, setting them all on a collision course. As each of The Five has a brush with one of her identities, they become more obsessed. They haven’t felt this way since ‘she’ died. Now if they can all stay alive long enough to figure out the mystery of their perfect women.

This is an over-the-top spy-thriller with a bada** femme-fatale, plenty of disguises and gadgets, lots of cat-and-mouse games, several near-deaths, and a touch of sex. It might be a little ridiculous but it’s a lot of fun. The characters, main and side, are all compelling and the action is non-stop. The focus on Remy as one of the deadliest assassins in the world, not to mention her other personas made the book for me. She was the star, not a sidekick or prop, and I hope once she reconnects with her boys, she doesn't lose her fierceness. I love the intricate intrigues. The setups, disguises, planning, and detailing all create a fun story. I can't wait for the next book. I hope Remy stays true to herself. Remember, girl, these guys betrayed you, got you 'killed'. I know you're lonely but hold a grudge. Make them work for you. Clearly, we want The Six together again but only once they are worthy of you.

Kayden Lukakis and Michelle Price narrated. I was hooked from the first thanks to their delivery. They made a fun book even better, bringing the characters to life with different accents and distinct personalities.
