Glad this wasn't a movie

Where does Blood Trail rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This book was very intense. It made me shutter more than once. I am glad this wasn't something I was watching. Very disturbing to think of someone skinning a person like a deer.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I love the Governor. He knows who will get the job done and make the Governor look clean. So typical it is completely believable.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I hated that Robey was killed. Gee I really liked that guy and he helped be Joe's voice of reason. Gee now Joe has to rely on his conscience.

Best one yet - I am totally hooked on this series.

This was great. Joe is a hot mess and Nate is at his finest. But in the end, justice for all.

Love this series

CJ Box’s Joe Picket series is excellent. If you are an outdoors man or a city slicker, you will enjoy the twists and turns of the plot and learn about the outdoors.

I like all of the Joe Pickett books and wish they were all on TV!

I wish sometimes that Joe would stand up for himself with folks like Pope, but like the way the books move!.

It was excellent. Did not want to stop listening when I had to move on.
