Publisher's summary

I’ve dedicated my life to slaying vampires. Now I’m about to offer up my blood.

When my brother gets into some serious trouble with the Vampire Clan of Baltimore, there’s only one thing I can do to save his ass.

I decide to offer myself up as a blood tribute, infiltrate their underground palace, and find a way to get him out.

But playing the part of a simpering blood bag is harder than I expected, especially when my first impulse is to put a stake through the heart of every vamp I meet. To make matters worse, I’ve somehow caught the eye of three dangerous vampire men:

Bastian, an ancient prince with features as cold as ice and eyes that burn like fire.

Rome, a darkly sexy rebel who just returned from a hundred-year banishment.

And Connor, a newly turned vampire whose lopsided grin is so devastatingly human that I almost forget he’s the enemy.

Even though I want to hate them all, they keep getting under my skin in ways I can’t explain. But if I let myself lose focus for even a second, it won’t just be me who pays for it. My brother will suffer too.

I’ve danced with the devil plenty of times...

But this time, the dance might kill me.

Blood Debt is the first book in the Kingdom of Blood series, a reverse harem vampire romance. The heroine is tough but flawed, and the (anti-)heroes are sexy and dangerous. If you love books by Jaymin Eve, Ivy Asher, Tate James, Eva Chase, and Kelly St. Clare, then dive right into this dark and twisted world!

Exciting start

So yes this is a trope that I love.

This was something a bit different. My only issues were I felt like it was too short and I have to wait for the next book which will only be on Kindle end of July.

I actually liked the narration, sure it’s hard to do multiple characters with a single section narrator but I think who did okay.

I can’t wait to see what happens next in the series and I hope she gets some revenge 9/10

great story

I had a very hard time getting past the narrator's voice. She sounded like a robot for most of the story

Vampire Déjà Vu

Did I read this book already and forget or is it just that similar to other vampire books that I only think I did? In a good way and in a bad way, it's just that similar to other books in the genre. The twist here is that our girl is a vampire hunter, which turns out to be a little annoying. She thinks she can outsmart all the ancient vampires and is a bit too self righteous and arrogant (major I'm not like other girls type). Everyone is too weak to save themselves and she's the only one who can save them. That said, it was a fun book. You had mean girls, hot vampires, and a new vampire world to learn about. Depending on the character development, the next book will make or break the series for me.

Tasty!!

Whoa...that was a nice ride. I just assumed it was the same as the crapola I've been regretting lately...great book summary, but mundane, blase characters and plot.

Nope, this was a great listen. Great narration, great intensity, really nice character development.

Additionally, I'm always complaining about self-centered lead female characters. This one's the opposite. She barely reveals info about herself, opting instead to find out or about the people around her, and considering how she could be helpful.

Thats a really nice change. Credit well-earned...FINALLY! Thank you, sweet baby geezus!

It's good

It's a good beginning and has the potential to be a very compelling story... The main character has spunk and personality the author did a good job of making each of the characters believable.. The only complaint is I wish there was one or 2 more foreshadowing hints there was one that hinted towards the end but it was so subtle that it was easy to miss...

Not the best, not the worst.

So this was a short little start to a possibly okay series. Not one that I will remember in a few months but also not one that I will be angry about. It had such potential to be a great RH but fell short in many ways. The length was to short. The internal monologs were to long. The sex was limited. The ONE sex scene was descriptive and long but it only had that one moment and it was a solo MF scene. If I'm going into a RH series I'm honestly expecting more in the steamy department. This book desperately needed dual narration!!!!! It could have been saved it we had the guys perspective but alas, I was left wanting with this one.
